NOTE: This guide is created by Friction Pin and was posted on LEGO Uni. This guide can contain errors because it was recovered after LEGO Uni closed down! The Target Duck Shirt is rarely seen around the universe and by far my favorite shirt in the game, I wear it often. Aside from myself, I have never seen anyone who wears it and very few who even know what it is or how to get it. In an effort to share knowledge, I have put this little guide together. Seems a few people have asked about this lately and I saw a post here that referenced why people cannot get 30 in a row. Hopefully this will help make sense of the madness.
First, let's review some key information you need to know when setting out upon your quest to achieve the Target Duck Shirt.

- The Charged Cannon starts every 25,000 points
- Know how many points each type of ship will give you
- Charged shots do NOT count towards streak
- Do NOT go for Combo hits, the Duck or Sea Monster
- Keep track of your points between cannon charges, you need to know when the next shot will start the charge
- If you miss and the streak breaks, keep playing your game to practice your skill
Charged CannonJust to be sure there is no confusion, a charged cannon is when the blue lightning type bar shows up around the timer at the top center of the screen and your cannon shoots fire. These rounds fire much faster than normal rounds and we definitely want to avoid using any charged rounds while chasing this achievement.
Round 1In this first round you can shoot a lot of ships before the first charge of the cannon. Depending on which ships you shoot determines exactly how many hits in your streak you can achieve. Most times you should have 12 hits in a row and the cannon will be charged when this round is over.
Round 2 You will start this round with a charged cannon, wait for it to turn back to normal and then start picking off ships again. Remember to keep an eye on how many points before you reach the next charge, this is important. If you shoot a ship with a charged cannon, your streak is still in tact but it will give you points for that hit thus putting you closer to the next cannon charge. This means that you have less shots with the normal cannon to shoot ships that will count towards our goal of 30 in a row. You should expect to grab at least 10 ships with an uncharged cannon during this round, this should put us at a total of 22 after round 2 is over. Round 2 gives us the chance to start taking advantage of the ships farthest away from you. By targeting ships in that back row, you can fire a shot at one or more of those and then quickly target a ship or two nearest you on the screen. More details in strategy section below.
Round 3 This round leaves us with 8 ships left. There are many more ships on the screen during this round than the previous too. This can make it difficult to avoid combo hits (hitting more than one ship with a single shot) or missing your shot completely with all the distractions moving on screen. Again, you should know where you are in your head which ships will be targeted to get the most shots in before the next charge. Round 3 is our best round for taking advantage of Air Time.
Strategy:MathRemember when the cannon charges are going to start by keeping track of your points as you go. Knowing how many ships and which ones on the screen will trigger that charge will be important. We want to know exactly how many shots we have available.
Air Time (timing your shot to gain the best advantage)The points do not count until the ship is hit with the cannon ball so we have a couple of seconds of "air time" while that long shot is hanging to rack up a few more hits close to us. Why this is important would be because we can use the Math strategy from above to determine when the next shot will trigger a cannon charge. When we reach that point, we will target a ship that farthest away from our cannon. We will fire a round at that ship. While that round is flying through the air, we quickly target and shoot one or two of the closer ships. Those closer shots will not be charged because the long shot has not yet reached it's target. This gives us a chance to get 3 hits in total when we normally could only have gotten on. This WILL take PRACTICE and good hand eye coordination but I know you are up to the challenge.
Notice in the picture, I have shot a ship far away from my cannon (#1) and then another (#2) and then targeted a third (I am leading that sub and will fire at it too) before either of the other shots have connected (#3). This will give me three hits whereas if I shot and then waited, I would have only hit one target before the cannon charge. Also note the area I circled in Red. This is a DANGER zone. I did NOT target any of those ships because of how close they are together and direction they are traveling. If I would have shot towards those ships I would have a very good chance of hitting more than one with a single shot, that would increase my points thus putting me closer to the next charge and only getting credit for a single shot towards my goal of 30 in a row.
ConclusionScoreThe reason you don't see anyone on the leader boards with 30 in a row is that the score is the item tracked, not the streak. The points will always be greater because people USE the charged cannon to get high score and you will NOT get a high score going for 30 in a row.

Notice in this picture, I have my friend list up on a new character I created a few days ago. It shows I have a streak of 31 in the game I just played but my friend leader board shows my streak of 30 that I had the game before. This is because I scored more points the last game (161,000) where I only scored 148,500 when I hit 31 in a row.
This achievement was meant to be difficult but the biggest help is knowing what does and does NOT count towards the streak is very important as is not documented anywhere in the game.
With a little practice this plan can be repeated at will. Now, it is still not an easy task but it can be accomplished. With these tips I know I'll be seeing more of those wonderful Target Duck Shirts around Lego Universe in no time.
Good luck!
