Every where I went in LU today I saw flocks of parrots! I knew that there were a few in surprise packs, but this is a bit more than that.
They are all over the place.. and there was one for sale in Nimbus with no takers!!!
Has LU gone to the birds??

it was the devs way of lowering the mad selling prices of gf rares. even tho i only got one parrot from my surprise packs i did get 2 briefcases, 3 black pirate ship shirts, 3 pairs of tights, 3 heater sheils and countless other rares. the prices are all lower now

I have not got one yet, I thought I would grind it out. I have been seeing more of them also so that gives me hope that i will pick one up grinding or in a surprise pack.

The main problem with handling inflation in this game, is that its played by a bunch of kids, who don't understand how economy works . . . Even my brother didn't understand how epaulets of authority, which used to go for millions, now only go for 200k. Teach them how demand vs. supply works, and they may get it . . .

Vote UP! And...YES! This is actually what the economy needs. True, the kids don't get that prices are lower, but the elites will. Let's just hope they start throwing non-faction specialties into the surprise packs by the time I get back to LU... |

Lol, looked at nexus tower achievements. The dwarf helm is now an achievement item!!! Take that! Im waiting for the brief case to become an achievement item, lol. Only a matter of time. The current rares will become common!

I personally don't like player-run economies in games. They tend to exclude the "have-nots" over people who have the time all day to play.
I play another game which has an auction house in-game. I sell resources at prices that can help others...and other players buy them and triple the pricing to resell them again. And I get angry in-game mail about "lowering/destroying the current player-controlled pricing!" So now I only buy/sell with friends/guildmates!
