Well, the polls for the first contest on MLNO since it's restoration has finished. With a total of three votes... We have crowned our winner.
Jayko won with his Wooly Mechmoth, which had a total of two votes. His 'Imagitron' also came in second place, with one vote.
I will admit, this had less of a turnout than I had expected and hoped for, but I think that was partially because I didn't advertise it as much as I should have.
None the less; congratulate Jayko here, for winning our first contest! =D His prize is 10+ rep, plus a possible sprite reward.

I imagine new people coming to the forum expecting to see discussion about LEGO, only to see RPGs full of deranged characters and insane people talking about cheese and brains.
I'm beet. I don't think I'll do homework tonight.
So, you're a vegetable?

Congratulations Jayko on a fine win and an even finer model, though I did vote for your second place entry.
It was a little disappointing wasn't it Blade, the turnout for entries and the amount of voter turnout as well.
I do believe though that your assessment of reasons behind are quite correct.
May I ask if you plan on having another re-boot contest soon? I'm itching to build something else.
If so, may I suggest a topic that you or I start asking the community what they would like to see as the next re-boot project. We could make a list with a poll of multiple options on categories for the member to choose from, or, not, though I think that awareness will be the key to a more successful contest next time around.

I will, but likely not for a little while. Though this time, I plan on actually leaving stuff open longer, might also help. I'm just too used to the Featured Member set-up. =P

Thank you Legodac! Your Mech was a fine creation as well! If I had known entrees were allowed to vote, yours would have been voted on, so many awesome techniques!
