While the cubes were stopped for a some time, the other cubes had taken over 30% of the galaxy with minimal losses. Their technology was advanced compared to this universe.

Ray, however, used that time to quickly get to where his friends and family were, and got them to go onto the ship. He also got the military commanders onto his ship as well, but figured he had run out of time for the others, and growled, as he shook his head.
"If there are any other ships around here... I recommend you send them away with some civilians. Now!" Ray warned the military commanders who stayed behind to pilot the Terran ships. Ray glared up to the sky, and growled.
You made a fatal mistake, Rakoua. You're gonna pay for this... Ray thought, as he thought back to that fight, and the fact that that Cyber Human seemed to already hate Rakoua.
I think I need to gather some allies who can actually fight... Ray thought, as he ran back to his ship, and then piloted it away from the doomed Terra.

OOC: You know that this'll eventually come down to a battle of very epic proportions, right? =P

OOC: That's the plan.

IC (Rakoua):

Apparently some civilians were attempting evacuation from Terra.
Rakoua ordered the cubes to fire all their weapons at the fleeing Terrans.

Ray, however, had the ships activate their shields for the moment, as his ship aimed for the Borg Cubes' external weapons. Ray sighed, as this would be a very experimental test, but connected his communication system to the other Terran ships, and focused.
"Mass Transfer, download begin." Ray stated, as he prepared for a very large energy drain from the mass amount of transferring.

[Rakoua]

IC:
The cubes continued firing, attempting to break trough the shields. In the meantime, the enemy weapons could do very little to damage the cubes.

"Now." Ray said, as a flash of light signified the disappearance of the fleet of ships, to a nearby point that was devoid of Borg for the moment. After the transferring finished, however, Ray gasped, and clutched the side of the control panel of his ship. He panted, having never used the transferring power to that extreme before, and definitely wouldn't be using it again for a long while.
"Everyone... Head quickly... To the nearest... Galaxy..." Ray panted over the communication system, before he collapsed to the ground from exhaustion, his armour deactivated as he laid on the ground, unconscious.

Meanwhile, the remaining Terrans were being assimilated.

A while later, Ray opened his eyes, and looked around the room he was in. He could tell it was the new ship, because it was unfamiliar, but the room setup was similar... However; he didn't know how long had past. He quickly checked his watch, which noted that it was almost exactly 3 hours since the assault on Terra. Ray growled, and slammed his fist into the wall, as he felt guilty that he let that happen.
Some 'hero'... I can't even protect the people who rely on me for protection... Ray thought, as he closed his eyes, knowing that he had rescued everyone important to him... But that wasn't enough; those people should be all that he could rescue, as he snapped his eyes open again.
'Rakoua'... I now realize all he said was a lie... he likely never had been part of any defence force... this was likely his goal all along. And I walked right into his trap, hook line and sinker... He is going to pay for this. Ray thought, as he walked over to the desk nearby, and picked up his black vest, and put it on.
I know what to do now. I will assemble a force strong enough to fight these... Aliens... and then destroy those things... And Rakoua in the process. Ray thought, as he walked out of his room, and toward the command centre.

OOC: Ray's gonna try to recruit Clive first; no matter the fact that they're currently enemies/rivals. =P

IC (Rakoua):

Rakoua looked at a huge holographic display of the galaxy. The cubes had only 20% of the galaxy left to assimilate.

OOC: One note; that's one galaxy... Now our goal is to both gather the survivors from that galaxy who now hate the Borg, and also ally with others in nearby galaxies... This is gonna be interesting.

"Status report." Ray stated, as he stepped into the control room. One of Ray's friends was startled by his sudden appearance and command, but nodded.
"Apparently these aliens have taken 80% of the galaxy already." The girl stated, and Ray growled, and muttered under his breath.
"How are these things doing this so quickly; with such efficiency?" Ray wondered out loud, and looked around.
"Where are we, anyway?" Ray asked, a curious look on his face.
"We're in the nearby galaxy you told the commanders to pilot to... We have no clue what type of planets are here; but... there might be people here who could help us. Also; the commanders stated that the other pilots from the initial scouting flight survived; and are heading here to meet up with our fleet." The girl answered, and Ray nodded.
"Let's keep heading further in... The more distance we put between us and the Borg until we can upgrade our ships, the better."

[Flipz]

"alright, let's get these things into a stasis container. my boss is gonna be very interested to learn how he died.... of course i'll take all the credit. you've earned a couple bars of my payment, by the way. I'm looking forwards to working whit you again, if you'd like."

"Of course.  Just let your employer know that I'm available for work if he needs me.  I look forward to working with you as well...here, take this."  Clive hands Thoron a communicator.  "That's a direct line to me.  If you need anything, press the green button to open a comm line, and the blue one to activate the tracer link.  The red button under the glass is a panic button; use it only in emergencies.  If I get that signal, I'll know you're in trouble, and I'll lead in the cavalry.  I only give most folks blue and green, but you've earned this one.  In the meantime, though, I need to check some contacts, see if I can I.D. those people who attacked us."  Especially the Cyber Human and the enchantress, he thought.  "Like I said, if you need me, just call."  With that, Clive initiated the reversion to realspace, and he and Thoron split their ships.  Clive brought his ship around, and both ships jumped back into hyperspace in two different directions.

OOC: Blade, if your ship has a distress signal, now would be a good time.  

EDIT: OOC2: Or you could find the bug I placed on you back on that other planet and reverse-trace the signal...
Also, there are likely several allies of Clive's who are on the run now.

Ray frowned, as he looked around the planet map for the galaxy. He put on the distress signal for the moment; as he wasn't sure who would help on the nearby planets, but didn't want to take any chances with floating dead in space.

IC (Rakoua):

"This took longer then expected. But that is irrelevant. Begin to create the new Unicomplex! And expand the fleet!"

OOC:

BTW, each cube has a data core, if you capture one, it would have all the tech and history and all from before the disaster.

OOC: The problem is doing that is harder than you'd think... Ray tried already. =P

... Granted, it was one on 100,000, but still. =P

OOC: You need a plan.

IC:

Work on the Unicomplex and new cubes began.

OOC: Plan is gathering people to help, and then storming a cube to take it over, so that they could be used against the Borg. Something Ray was trying to do, if he could've found a control panel. =P

Ray frowned, as he waited, and walked around the ship, as he looked around the rooms that was on the ship, as he had never had time to find out what kind of rooms were on this space craft.

Clive notices a distress signal coming from the nearest galaxy to his previous location...followed by over six billion other distress signals FROM said galaxy.  "What the--"  He runs to the main computer and pulls up the map of his tracer bugs in that galaxy.  He gasps.

They were all gone.

Well, not all of them.  About a hundred and fifty targets were still transmitting.  One of them was the girl assasin who he had just met...it seemed to be fleeing the galaxy, like most of the others.  Another one was part of a small group of five...and it included the Cyber Human from before.  He seemed to be at the origination point of the first distress signal.  Clive made his decision.  He dropped out of hyperspace, turned his ship slightly, and jumped to the system the Cyber Human was in.  I hope I don't regret this...

"what's the plan?" he says, strapping on his armor "or do we even have one?'

OOC: Actually, they're just outside the galaxy, but either way, it works. =P

Ray was about to check one room that looked to be spacious enough to allow training, when a beeping occurred; and the girl from before's voice then rang out over the intercom.
"Ray; get back to the Command Centre; there's a ship approaching us." Ray groaned, and then sighed, as he ran back toward the Command Centre quickly.

IC (Rakoua):

Rakoua was reviewing his master plan.
