Space Wars: Regression

The 5 Cubes Ray saw were the squadron heading toward Terra.

OOC: Come on, I want epic battle!

Ray growled, and quickly tapped the controls to put the ship onto auto pilot, and to set the weapons to fire when the ship came within range. Ray narrowed his eyes, and activated his armour.
"I knew there was something wrong with that guy... This ends... now." Ray said, and then transferred onto the first cube, as he summoned his Dual Helix Sword, and prepared to head toward the control room; if he took control of that, then he could at least slow their invasion.

OOC: Oh yes; 'upgrade'... Ray can shoot beams out of his sword. =P

IC:

A bunch of Borg attacked Ray while he was on the ship.

Ray growled, and rolled to the side to dodge. He activated the armour's helmet, and then used his helmet's visor to target one of the Borg, and then slashed out at the Borg from a distance, and sent out a beam from the blade of his sword, which he aimed to use to slice through the Borg in question.

OOC: Epic fight? Alright then; Fierce Deity Ray against the Borg. That should be interesting. =P

OOC: One man vs trillions? Sounds a bit... unbalanced, should I say?

IC:

The drone was killed, but more replaced him, getting ever closer to Ray.

OOC: You underestimate the power of Fierce Deities. =P(</reference to Fierce Deity Link, not the species that Ray is right now>)

Ray, however, kept targeting different Borg drones, and slashed out at them.
This is taking too much time... Ray thought, as he scanned through the map of the complex, and tried to find the main control room of the complex.

IC:

Ray soon saw that there was no actual command centre in the cube.

Ray growled, and continued to slash through the Borg that were approaching with his sword beams, as he scanned instead for where a nearby control panel was.

IC:

Hundreds of drones were approaching Ray's position.

OOC: The only way to disable a Borg cube is to destroy the Central Plexus in it, but if other cubes are close, it could probably still function.

[Darth Rexus]

IC (Silent Storm): "Alright, make sure this is a IESA Fighter, once your sure, head for the Forge."

OOC: I'm not looking to disable/destroy it... And central plexus?

Ray frowned, and prepared, as he held his sword in front of him, and place two fingers onto the blade, as he focused, and waited for his chance.

[Rakoua]

IC:

The drones began firing lasers at Ray.

OOC: Sort of like a computer that maintains the connection to the Collective.

oh, and the cubes will be reaching Terra soon.

IC:

"It seems to be an IESA fighter, so, yeah."

The IESA fighter started up with Skrief and Silent in it, and headed towards the Forge, getting there rather quickly through the power of lightspeed.

Ray moved to either side to avoid the laser blasts, as his ship had reached optimal range, and was now firing at all five Borg cubes, alternating targets as it did so. He also monitored the other situation, but had no clue what he could really do.

IC:

The cube attacked the Forge.

IC:

The Borg cubes found the damage from Ray's ship too weak to even regenerate.

Ray smirked, as the Borg eventually got within his needed range. Ray then spun around quickly; both sending out multiple Sword Beams at the Borg who had gotten into his range, and a circle barrier that also helped to slice through any Borg who tried to replace the ones who got his by the beams. Ray, however, grimaced at how ineffective this fighting was seeming, and ran through a few possible scenarios in his head, and then shook his head, as he sent his ship toward Terra, quicker than the Borg ships.

IC:
The Borg ships were following.

Ray noticed that his ship was nearing Terra quickly, as he continued to fend off the Borg drones for the moment.

The Borg just kept on coming.

Ray's ship finally reached Terra's surface, and Ray smiled.
"Bye-bye." Ray said, as he attempted to send out a temporary paralysis program, either to the cube, or the Borg themselves, since they seemed to be part robotic... And Ray then transferred down to Terra's surface.
I've gotta try to evacuate all the people I can...
