The Borg were making quick progress. The primitive universe was no match to the Cubes. The only thing slowing down the Borg was the fact that there were no transwarp conduits and only one cube was outfited with a Coaxial Warp Drive.
As such, Rakoua teleported to that cube and used the CWD to get back to the original galaxy, where he was informed that the signature of the refugee ships were found.
