Midori saw the boy next to her notice her, and immediately knew her worst fears were about to come true. She immediately stood up and searched for the quietest-looking person on board the shuttle.
Unfortunately, that was right next to Bocra.

Meanwhile, Sulu caught sight of the movement, and saw Kaze standing next to the shuttle ramp. "Ah, Cadet..." after two full minutes of searching through the Adademy database, he found Kaze's name and picture. "Kaze, is it? Well, since you were the last to arrive, you can come co-pilot with me."
Midori saw the Romulan stiffen, and oddly it sparked her curiousity. I wonder why...did he want to be late? And why is he here? Is he a refugee, or a defector, or...? "Wait, why do I even want to know?" she accidentally says aloud.
