Kaze wanted to give the Holodeck a try; but opted to instead head toward the Lounge in the Forward section of Deck 12... The Lieutenant Commander had said there was Karaoke, and he was so going to see if that was true.

After Kaze mentioned what was where, Midori decided to head to the lounge--but not before stopping by her quarters.  She needed that sketchbook--no way was she going to hang around a crowd of people without something to hide behind.  You could always have a chat with that Kaze guy, I don't think he'd let anyone else butt in... Midori quickly pushed the thought from her mind.  What is this, a soap opera?  She shook her head and went into her quarters.

OOC: Just to say, Kaze's appearance is slightly different than he will be after the Prologue... Right now he wears a green jacket over a black shirt, with normal blue jeans.

He won't get his new outfit until after certain events. =P

Kaze continued to head toward the lounge, however, paused, and checked the device he wore on his arm, under his jacket's sleeve, and after quickly reviewing what was the the simple list of rooms and where they were; continued onward toward the Lounge on Deck 12.

OOC: Meh, I somehow managed to get sick again.
Forgive me if I am not feeling up to catching up with all that has happened. Pretend I wrote an epic post on Borca going up to the bridge and his feelings on all those present.

Borca still felt up tight from the experience with the human female.
Why did all humans feel the need to look down on Romulans?
As he did not trust the human who had relayed the message of the Lt-Commander, he accessed a nearby computer terminal.
"Directions to holo-deck." He said coarsely.
*Chirp* "Holo decks are on Deck Ten, if you require, I can display additional instructions."
Borca didn't even bother responding. Romulan computers wouldn't be that annoying. He reached the turbolift down the hall and entered it.
"Deck Ten"
OOC: If someone wanted they could be in the turbolift so there could be an awkward stony silence.

Kaze happened to have been in that same Turbolift, as he was planning on heading to the Lounge, and found that would be the fastest way. However, he didn't say anything as the Romulan walked in, as he didn't exactly want to start a potential fight, especially not in a Turbolift.

One of the other humans from his shuttle was already on the turbolift...the really bad pilot.
Deciding not to be entirely hostile, Borca made a sound in the back of the throat that should be interpreted as a recognition of the humans presence.
The Turbolift activated and sped on its way.

OOC: Deck twelve should be the first stop if we were still on the bridge level.

Kaze nodded to Borca to acknowledge his presence, but had no opportunity to say anything, as the Turbolift dinged, and the doors opened, at Deck 12, as Kaze nodded once more to Borca and then stepped out of the Turbolift, and paused, as he had no clue where to head now.

Borca wished there was a "slam door behind annoying human" button like in Romulan turbolifts, but alas, there was not. The turbolift finally resumed its progress with a hum and a whirr and eventually stopped at deck ten.
Borca stepped out and wondered which way to travel to get the the holodecks.

Kaze resorted to simply wandering across the ship, as he attempted to find out where the lounge was located on the ship. He had checked a map, but that didn't really seem to help any, and Kaze sighed.

Borca spots Midori wandering around Deck 10, clearly lost.

-==IC: Pavlov==-
Kaze sees a red-haired woman enter the doors of the lounge, followed shortly by none other than LCDR Pavlov.

Kaze raised an eyebrow, and headed toward where the lounge was, curious about what was going on.

OOC: Can the karaoke be anything, like from this era? =P

OOC: Yes.  If you read the profiles, Commander Williams listens to Glee.  Just mention how the song is an "early 21st century hit" or something of the like.  Remind us how old it is!

Kaze walked into the lounge and then looked around, as he attempted to figure out where the karaoke machine was first, while also wondering where the other two got to.

As Kaze entered the lounge he saw a dark-skinned woman with a draped green hat and clothes sitting at the bar, apparently chatting to the orange-shirted bartender.  A few tables away, an Andorian in an ensign's uniform looked to have started a card game with a Xindi-Primate, a Vulcan, and a Klingon.  Several couples sat at tebles near the stage, and a Ferengi was just stepping from the microphone.  He walked over to one of the two speaker/control towers for the lounge's karaoke system, then spotted Kaze.  He gestured to the cadet.  "Come on, let's let someone else give it a go.  My meal is getting cold."  When Kaze seemed to hesitate, he brought the microphone over and whispered in Kaze's ear, "I'll give you three bars of gold-pressed latinum if you'll go up there and give me a change to get away before they make me sing again."  When Kaze blinked, he quicky said, "All right, four bars.  Now go!"  The Ferengi pressed the mocrophone into his hands, pushed Kaze toward the stage, and practically ran from the lounge.

Kaze smirked as he stepped up to the microphone, and scanned through the list of songs.
Ah, this'll do. Kaze thought, as he touched the icon for Oasis' song called 'Wonderwall'.

The music begins playing.

OOC: Karaoke in this game works just like in DoaH; you sing each line/verse, one or two at a time as needed.

--Deck 10--
Midori suddenly catches sight of Borca, and moves quickly around the corner.

Kaze smiled.
"Today, was gonna be the day
That they're gonna throw it back to you." Kaze sang, to start off.

--Lounge--
The dark-skinned woman hears the song, and smiles as if remembering something.  The red-haired woman sits at a table near the stage before Pavlov can spot her.  Pavlov, meanwhile, starts looking around for her, starting at the bar and working his way nearer.

OOC: This is a different red-haired woman than Midori's roommate, BTW.
I hope Borca makes it up here before the story post; his confrontation with Midori from earlier will play right into the events of the Story version.
