I got a lump in my throat when I read this.
I "grew up" thinking: patriotism, it is the AMERICAN way!
 I am glad to see that somebody saved these posters.
The statement at the end says it all!

~ These were our parents  and your grandparents~
What in God's name have we let happen ?

I guess we are the last generation to see, or even remember anything like these !
Whatever happened?

The entitlement generation happened!
'Political correctness' (or "re-education") happened,
Lack of personal responsibility happened,
Lack of personal integrity and honesty happened,
Lack of respect and loyalty to our country happened,
Lack of being an American happened.

Did all of these things die along with common sense ?!?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I, for one, am still proud to be an American!
MLNO.  The only forum I know where expressions like the one above are commonplace. Tongue
I find World War I propaganda more interesting personaly.
=P
And some WWII (unphotoshopped =P) posters:
USSR
Too bad that those aren't IL-2s.
This one reminds me of one real world video from the end of the war.
UK
I remember this one froma book. It's sorta funny as it was misleading, the Germans had no intention of using gas bombs while there were Lancasters bombing them, as that would certanly mean retaliation on a large scale.
This one is just epic, and accurate as women were the main workforce during the war while men fought. Plus I love Lancasters.
I almost feel sorry for them Messerschmits =P
Can't see if those are Panzers or not, they seem a bit weird....
