[The Truth]

Seliroth winced as the arrow entered her shoulder, but continued to fire her feathers in all directions.
Lily collapsed under a spread of feathers.
Lucifer kicked Rhea in the forehead, leaped sideways, and knocked Maria unconscious.
He attacked Rhea again with one sword, attacking Quincy with the other.

OOC: The others appearing behind Quincy would be nice.

-==IC: Quincy==-

Quincy dodged out of the way of the feathers and sword, as she quickly took a lock onto Seliroth, so to speak, and attempted to fire an arrow into one of her wings quickly, to try and stop the spread of feathers.
Rhea, meanwhile, was barely able to raise his sword from the force of being kicked across the room, and lost his sword to the attack, but his resolve was simply strengthened, and he attempted to blast Lucifer as his hand was freed up.

[The Truth]

OOC: I can't remember the names of the others.
IC: Lucifer caught the blast with his sword, which began to glow. He began to spin rapidly, slashing at both Rhea and Quincy.
Seliroth flew upward, dodging the arrow, then swooped downward, kicking Quincy square in the nose and knocking her down. She flew back up to the ceiling, the feathers flying more rapidly now.

OOC: That's because you never NAMED them. xP

Rhea barely blocked the blow, as he jumped up to try and avoid the attacks, using a wave of casting energy to attempt to attack Seliroth again. Meanwhile, Quincy, from her position on the ground, the kick barely knocking her out of the way of the attack, fired off a few arrows at Seliroth, trying to at least keep her in position of the wave of energy.

[The Truth]

OOC: Makes sense.

IC: Lucifer slashed faster than the eye could follow, each attack causing a micro sonic boom.
Seilroth spun rapidly, using her sharp feathers as a shield.

Rhea growled, as he barely was able to dodge the sonic booms, and his right leg was hit, causing him to fall to a knee briefly with a wince, as he fired a blast at Seliroth for after the shield was dropped.

[The Truth]

The blast knocked some of the feathers back into Seliroth.  She collapsed to the ground, blood oozing from one of her eyes, her expression one of pure hatred. She grabbed for Quincy's neck as Lucifer slashed at Rhea's head with one blade and his legs from the other side with the other.

Quincy squawked in protest, not having time for a full sound, as she was picked up, and brought into the air, then unable to breath, as she tried to pry her way free.
Rhea, on the other hand, was barely able to use his arms enough to summon two swords to barely block the blows, however, he couldn't repel them, and it was taking all his might to simply prevent Lucifer from making mincemeat out of him...

[The Truth]

Lucifer battered Rhea harder.

Seliroth lifted Quincy into the air, her one eye glowing with hatred.

OOC: She's vulnerable now.

Quincy's arms dropped, as she closed her eyes; however, one arrow formed in her left hand, and she jabbed it forward as hard as she could.

-==IC: Rhea==-

The swords were taking all they could; but they were beginning to crack, and Rhea's arms weren't faring much better...

[The Truth]

Seliroth gasped and coughed up blood, spattering Quincy with it.
She hurled Quincy aside and stumbled into a side tunnel, which sealed behind her.

Lucifer pushed his advantage, sweat dripping from his forehead as he pushed Rhea towards the wall.

Rhea was barely able to avoid being skewered as it was, so he let himself get pushed back to buy him some more time...

-==IC: QUincy==-

Quincy, meanwhile, began to slowly stand up, panting as she did so, as she barely looked over at Lucifer, and aimed at his head, and then fired off an arrow, collapsing right afterward, not even knowing right at that moment if it hit.

[The Truth]

Lucifer froze, then looked down in surprise at the arrow tip protruding from his chest. His eyes glazed over and he collapsed.

Seliroth ran through the tunnel.
"Now Seliroth...wherever could you be going?"
Seliroth skidded to a stop. "Genisus! This is wrong! It's not going according to plan!"

"Not to YOUR plan, perhaps."
With a single blast, Genisus vaporized the startled Seliroth.

"I never intended to help you rule. But your ambitions made eliminatiing the other Devil Lords easier."

He blasted open the tunnel entrance Seliroth had sealed, and strode into the room, observing what Rhea and Quincy had done.
From the tunnel that Rhea had entered through, Dusk entered the room as well.

Rhea panted, as he nodded thanks to Quincy.
"Thanks.. for the help..." Rhea panted to Dusk and Genisus, not even pulling off his sarcastic self correctly because of all that happened, since he could barely even move at that point.

[The Truth]

Dusk nodded at him. "You've done well. Only one task remains."
He snapped his fingers, and Cast a cube around the heads of all the Golds, cutting off their oxygen. "I really am sorry."
One after another, they passed out. Rhea was the last to go.

Rhea awoke in a transparent tube, filled with an odd liquid. His vision felt blurred.

Rhea grit his teeth, as he realized, once more, that he had just been played, and tried to figure out what exactly was happening.

[The Truth]

On each side of him, the other six Golds floated unconscious in their tubes. In an eighth tube floated...Gabriel.

All eight tubes were connected to a large machine, and in a throne atop the machine sat Lord Genisus. The machine and tubes were resting on a soft bed of grass. On all sides were plants, trees, flowers, and fountains. The sun shone brightly overhead in a clear blue sky. Birds chirped faintly from the trees. In the distance, a large stone wall was visible, stretching out to both sides.
Beside the machine, Dusk was working on the controls.

Rhea wanted to speak out, but couldn't find the energy to open his mouth, as he instead focused more on the machine, wondering just what was going on.

[The Truth]

Dusk flipped a switch. Light coursed from the tubes to the machine, and from there to Genisus. 
Rhea felt as though something was being sucked right out of him.
Dusk looked at him sadly. "I wish you'd remained unconscious..it would have been more merciful. This machine will suck all your natural Caster power out of you. Likewise, it is siphoning the life force from Gabriel. When it is complete, Lord Genisus will ascend to the throne of God, here in the very Garden of Eden where humans first fell. And you...I'm sorry. You will die as the process completes."

Rhea narrowed his eyes at Dusk, and simply shook his head, as that was all he really had the energy for. Even if he could move that instance, those back to back fights had drained him more than he had anticipated. So instead, he attempted to make one last guilty appeal, by shaking his head in disapproval, to try and convey that that was not what they were fighting for.
