I have been buying the advent calendars since before they were before city themed and only included non minifigure items. Following the yearly tradition I picked up this up at a lego store and found it to be pretty good.

Like usual I opened each slot in order for each day, sometimes forgetting a few. It is a really good set and any lego city fan should purchse it. The set follows the usual order with a new theme every three days. The pattern is usually somewhat like this:

Day 1: Certain themed minifigure
Day 2: Object relating to theme
Day 3: Larger/main object relating to theme

The themes like usually consist of one of the smaller city themes. However this year they did include several city themes alongside more civilians. This means you can get a small kid playing with a remote controlled car or a teenager throwing snowballs. This is very good as it shows how lego is being more realistic.

Overall: 10/10

Thanks LVR, you really are making me think tonight...about all that's really important to me, like friends who hold dear what I do.

@Raks, thanks, it's good to know lego is moving to civilians rather than making an authoritorian city.

@legodac, no problem, glad you read the reviews.
