Cave Story is a game that was made by named Daisuke "Pixel" Amaya over five years, all by himself. It was released in 2004, and can be downloaded free for any computer OS here. (Be sure to get the English patcher unless you can read Japanese.) You can also buy it on the Wii Shop Channel and DSi Shop Channel, and a graphically-enhanced remake will be released later this year for the 3DS as a retail game. I recently started playing it, and I love it. It is pretty challenging but also very fun. -Canama |

Cave Story's awesome. However, I've only played the demo.
Given how Capcom just failed and cancelled Legends 3, however, I suddenly have some spare money to get the 3DS game when it releases. =P

1. Yeah, Link's Awakening is on my 'to-get' list for sure. And I'm not certain on Pilotwings; is it good? I haven't played the prior games, so I'm not certain.
2. You've got a point there. =P I might check it out soon. Still getting the updated version once I can, though... I have a funny feeling it's replacing the Megaman series for a while, in terms of games I play a lot. =/
