Cendox... That's the one that has similarities to Vultraz, right?
Thanks for the good review, B6 smile.gif
A couple of clarifications, just so you don't expect more than what's there.
* The stairs won't lead anywhere.
* We initially wanted to put blockers in the game, but decided against it for performance reasons. We wanted the game to be playable by as many people as possible, so we're using a subset of the Unity features and keeping the on-screen resources as clean as possible.
* As B6 surmised, each character has their own fighting style. The first league starts easy on purpose... trust me, it gets more challenging in later leagues smile.gif
* Once you unlock a league, you get another character to play. The only Glatorian you won't be able to play as will be Skrall, since he's the boss for each level. But if you do the math, you get to play as five characters against the other five characters. By my math, that's 125 unique matches for you to play, so if you want, you can keep busy with this for a while.
* Glad I'm not the only one who had problems with the Spikeball game. The developer and our QA department both thought it was fine. Guess time will tell.
* The game delivered to LEGO World and Toy Fair is basically the full game, the final version will have some minor bugs fixed and some other things cleaned up, but no new features.
* The game will initially be launched on BIONICLE.com and BIONICLE.co.uk in English, and within a few weeks it will be released on all local language web sites. At that time, a downloadable version with all languages will be available for Mac and PC. (The translations are taking a little longer than expected.)
* The online version will require a Unity plugin. It's 3MB and takes 1 click to install - easier than installing Flash, actually. But we realize not everyone will want to install Unity, so we'll have the downloadable versions, which don't require you download the plugin.
* The final web version was just delivered a couple of hours ago. Now it goes through implementation and final testing for launch next week with any luck.
... Some of that is good, like the web version up by next week hopefully, but something tells me there won't be the stuff we were expecting, and that the stairs won't be going anywhere, which is a little bit of a downer.
Now, excuse me, I have to go figure out where I can get this plugin...
