Spikit is pretty cool, although having different colour head and eyes is odd on paper, although I don't really think it'd be a problem irl.

Not IMO. If he didn;t have those pistons, he would have an awkward circle in his torso. If you remove his shoulder armour, the weapons and the bitil wings on his legs and give him a mata head, he looks a good deal like the CGI Mata Nui Robot, except yellow. Most of those people are the ones who don;t have the set. I can understand the gold, because there's never been keetorange Inika Armour before (which we need badly) , and the gold mask of life is pretty much wanted by everybody.
Yeah, and TMN cost me 40 pounds, not sure how much that is in canadian dollars.
Kaxium really is dull. Its only features are the split up and thornax. Baranus sacrifices functions for poseability (Spikit and Sahmaad) (Thornax Launcher) and Thornatus has functions and moves pretty well on any surface.

MNT is $64.99 CAD on S@H I think, and about the same on TRU CAD. Whih means even if you say he's the best set I won't get him.
Kaxium looks blocky, but you get 2 Matoran Agori and 2 Vehicles in one, which is somehwat of a place(especially since its $40 CAD, and Agori are $8 each(which means the vehicle is only $24). I don't like the wheels on Kaxium that much though.
Baranus is Baranus. I'd say he is the average large set this year(Skopio, Cendox and Thornatus above him, MNT tied or below, and Kaxium at the bottom). But the sets all depend on what you want. MNT is great if you want a Titan, and what makes him not the greatest is how his head sticks up. If he had a large mask(Taka08) he wouldn't look so odd. And he is full of MOCing pieces(6 pistons is always welcome).
Are you gonna do a review for any of the sets you got?(Baranus/Cendox/Thornatus)

I refuse to believe you!! Forgot about that... I did read the instructions(for all the summer sets other than Skopio the day they came out(or the day they were announced at BZP)). The new clip is pretty cool. Skopio is strong. Too bad its just an animal. Although it dwarfs everything else, which the set doesn't do entirely(although Tanma fits under it). |

Alright guys, I'm gonna MOC a set of 6 Toa. But I'm also gonna write an epic in the Writing sub-forum of MLNO to go with them. It will narrate their lives as they try to survive in the apocalyptic, Makuta-ruled Metru Nui. The Toa will be the Toa Karata, and they will include Tanma, Solek and Photok. I should be opening the epic by the end of the week, maybe even by the end of the night. I'm a quick writer.
Oh, and don't expect the MOC Toa anytime soon.

@KZ & MTM: Agreed that they shouldn't sound like horses and should sound like Dinos. Otherwise it was a good clip, but Skopio could've been featured more. One thing I don't get:
Why does Kiina drive the way she does, just going side to side while still heading towards the Skopio?Wouldn't it be better to just go around it? I dunno, but it seems odd. And she seems way to into steering, as if its hard to do(although the steering on the set looks hard to use).

That's because the Thornatus steering is hard to use. Besides, that Skopio is very large and quick. I would surely desstroy them if they decided to go around them, or even near it.
