Gunmetal, which is explained in story and Gunmetal would be way better as a secondary colour for the phantoka and mistika toa as we have not seen it a million times.

The Phantoka were cool. Especially Antroz, I have him - although he sort of looks like a demon Hakann in a way, he manages to stand out.

Antroz was my favourite Phantoka too.

The bestest part is that his tridax pod goes with his colour scheme and he isn't an Inika clone IMO.

The Tridax Pods as launchers were terrible. They could barely fire, they just drop on the surface. Not to mention the shadow leeches are easy to lose.

They're not meant to be used as launchers, though. The instructions clearly implied that.

Yeah, they're supposed to be bombs. They were the action features of the Winter Makuta Wave, not the launchers, IMO.

1. Hard to decide... Lewa, Gresh
2. Kiina, without a doubt.
3. Atakus and Perdutis. Both are so useless to the plot that they should be special versions of Fero and Ackar/Malum.
4. Gresh, tied with Mata Nui and Kiina.
5. Tarix.
6. 2009.
7. Hordika part of 05... Visorak were better.

3. Teridax(post getting the name. He was awesome when he was mysterious)/Gresh. Somewhat bland.

1.Lewa is pretty funny, but I don't like him all the time. Gresh is just too much of a hero type, and seems undevelopped and bland. I like Jaller because he was the first fire type to properly be a leader, and I feel that he had a lot of feelings and was empathetic.
2.I can't comment too much on 2009 characters, since all I have to go on are the few comics I've read online and a few story serials. I picked Nokama and Hahli over Kiina because i liked them in story and I feel that Kiina is a bit too impulsive, but again, I haven't paid too much attention to the 2009 storyline.
3. Atacus and Perditus are pretty useless. But they were so useless they didn't get any positive or negative, so I decided to put unmysterious Teridax and Gresh behind them.
4. Axalara is complicated in its build, Skopio looks pure awesome, and Jaller comes with a crab, and has a great torso with the crab armour. Mata Nui is okay, but doesn't compare(IMO) to sets like Ax and Skopio. Gresh is top heavy(with his weapons) and I don't have Kiina.
5. Tarix is better than the Hordika IMO.
6. 2009 started out well, but then it re-introduced elemental powers(in the weapons) and overall was just a way to introduce an entirely new planet. The first half was epic, the second half not so much.
7. Agreed. Visorak =win. Hordika =waste of money(although some decent MOCing possibility).

1.Vezon, Mutran or Strakk in the first half of the year. I liked him more when he was a sadistic pessimist, not a selfish jerk.
2.Kiina FTW.

4. If I had Thornatus or Skopio (or any vehicle) I'd probably say one of them. Otherwise it's a toss-up between Makuta Antroz, Stronius, '08 Taka and the Bohrok Lehvak.
5. I've heard Hewkii Mahri sucks, but I don't have him, so I'd have to say Onua Mistika. Of course Gali Mistika was pretty bad too...

For those who want to know why I hate Kongu: DUDE! DON'T REVERSE THE CHUTES YOU IDIOT! DON'T MESS WITH THE TOA METRU!

Not to mention your awful Inika mask. And dude, you didn't get the power of flight. GET OVER IT.

Kongu had the best toa of air characterization IMO. And if he didn't complain? He'd be Lewa/Matau V2.

Another guy I dislike is Ackar. What's a smelly old fart doing in the '09 storyline? And really? PAST HIS PRIME? He looked pretty tough in TLR. CHECK HIM FOR PERFORMENCE ENCHANCERS NAO.

I really just felt he was too...average. And as a set he's kind of lame.

Say, was anyone else dissapointed by the lack of usage of Thornax Launchers in TLR? Only Skopio used one, and it looked more like he was using a cannon.

Stars. I'm craving for the stars after reading reviews... anyone found reviews for Gresh and Skrall, seeing as they haven't been reviewed yet AFAIK?

And if I get Takastara, I'll have him look up to his 08 version...

And if the stars are the only winter 010 BIONICLE sets, then at least it lets me get money for other themes.
