I noticed they have a near-same color scheme.
Toa Ignika was Yellow, Black and Silver. Mata Nui is Black and Yellow.
Notice the similarity?

Greg said that the reason for Mata Nui's colors is the way his Toa form comes into being.
He said Yellow OR Gold would be the only ones that made sense. Why couldn't they make him Yellow AND Gold then?

* MTJ: We’d like to use them, but it’s dreadful expensive.
* JD: Absolutely we’d like to use these colors. The chrome elements we don’t use mostly because of the plastics we use. It’s only very few of them we can chrome.
* AS: It’s an order of magnitude more expensive.
* MTJ: It costs a lot.
* JD: Where do you want to use the money? On more elements, or add another shield or something?
* CR: It’s verdammt teuer.

... Wait, did you think I don't have Bio sets at all? I've got most of the sets from last year(Lewa, Pohatu, Kopaka, Mutran and Vican, Ignika, Krika, Gorast, Tahu, Gali, Onua, and Takanuva) except the winter Makuta, Icarax(GRRAAAH >_< I wanted him badly for his Kraakhan, which probably won't be out again because of it's fate >_>), Bitil, and the Vehicles. I AM going to get Gresh and Mata Nui for sure. Just if I definitely will, or if it's just a wild dream that won't happen, or when, that I don't know.
