Fell out of Lego for a bit. Kept an eye on the storyline, but didn't get any sets. I wanted to get back in in '06, but I couldn't, and only got 4 sets in '07.
... Win. Ok, then, Mata Nui and Gold Mata Nui are my sets for the summer =P Maybe the other vehicle if I can.
ZLS: C'mon, give it a chance, I think we just found out why he's yellow set-wise. Plus, it doesn't look too bad, and it was Ignika's colour scheme and no-one complained. Or is it because you had high hopes for a can because it was named Mata Nui...? Just wondering about your reasoning. Besides, if Gold Mata Nui's like Takanuva, he won't share anything with a normal can probably =P

'07. Now my post count matches... XD ZLS: No, they won't do that. Gold and anything brown or yellow go horribly together, IMO. They just look messy. I tried it once, and it didn't look good... I'd like it, for MoCs, but the target audiance wouldn't, as they don't like MoCing. |

Gold and green sound good, too. Anything cold or dark looks good with gold. Bright and warm colors go well with silver. |

The yellow mask is really annoying. It just blends in too much and ends up looking wierd. In some pics where I can see the canister he looks somewhat better, but he just looks wierd. Plus I don't really like keetorange... Mata Nui would have been better if they could have changed a feww things on him, like less keetorange and more black parts. The silver blade shield thingy he holds is odd, but it adds variety to his color scheme and I would have prefered more silver (ohmygoshnotlike08butabitmore). And his shoulder armour overuses that weapon. His upper leg armour is way too small for him and makes his proportions way off. And that keetorange mask... I hope they don't mess up the Titan Mata Nui color scheme like they did with Tarix...
I like Tarix. Even if he has no proper chest armour and has odd mata blue hands and feet that don't match. The spikes on his shoulders and the water blades are cool even if he does reuse the inika design completely... |

I like Tarix... it's just that he has one too many colors, and I was referring to the Silver and Gold, which don't go together well.
Remove the silver and replace with gold and he'll be better, IMO.
If they could've got a gold mahri tube, gold spikes and gold thornax launcher parts...

KZ: Many of us are on BZP... I am the same there as here... though you'll probably see me in the Offline section, as I never sign in unless its to view a profile. Mostly I read the OGD, Greg and Bink's blogs, and a few storyline and theory topics. I mostly go there for Bio news though, and for the occasional Kaxix Banner  I hate CAD pricing. 14.99 is way to much for a canister set... and whatever the price for an agori is just absurd... As it is, Skopio is gonna be $110 or more. Andthen tax :-\ |

I think it said 110... good thing its not US prices, otherwise there's no way I could afford it EDIT: funny thing, I only now saw the Skopio function. I overlooked it before. But I also noticed that on Thornatus, along with FOUR MIDAK SKYBLASTERS(FOUR?!?), it has two silver Krika heads as wheel guard thingys. And it has a function as well(who knew?). The wheels on the side stretch in and out(I think). That makes Thornatus rise in the coolness category. Although Skopio is much more WIN  |
