The five people on the ground groaned, but didn't get up. That was when a female about my age stumbled forwards, walking towards me with her hand reaching behind her for the crossbow.
Uh-oh, if someone pulls a crossbow out on you, it's never good news.
I flexed my hands, and the ropes attached to the five downed humans retracted into my hands. The female moved forwards.
"You're pretty talented." she said, pointing the crossbow at me, preparing to fire. "But no one beats me... ever."
