Destiny Of A Hero RPG -- Shattered Memories

"you're funny. tell me, what's your name?"

Aki stops, gives Marik an odd look, and says, "I don't remember it.  I don't remember anything.  I wonder why that is?"  Aki shrugs, looks over his shoulder, shudders, and says, "They're after me.  I just know they're after me.  I can feel it."  He steps around Marik and continues his charge up the hill.  At the top is a parking lot covered with solar panels, and a large building with a roof that only slopes to one side.  Oddly, Aki feels like he has been here before.  He runs across the parking lot towards the building.

*trails you*   *decides not to say anything*   *watches you enter the building*

[Flipz]

Aki enters the building and sees a medium-length hallway with two gigantic sliding steel doors on both sides.  Both are open; the one on the left opens into a giant workshop, though it's deserted for now.  The right side opens into a theatrical stage.  Several of the battens are down right now; Aki ducks under them and the lighting instruments clamped to them and goes to a steel ladder near the side of the proscenium arch.  He climbs the ladder into the catwalks.  He turns and motions to Aki.  "Come on, green fire man.  It's safer up here."  He then moves across the catwalk to a small metal platform near a door.  He sits down on a large speaker.  "Now we can plan to stop the guys trying to kill us," he says, apparently having forgotten his initial mistrust of Marik.

"what 'guys'?" said marik, appearing beside him. "and why is this safer?" he asked, drawing his sword anyways.

OOC: Whoa. Lots of posts. =O

Mahri: Yep. Multiple ICs, in fact. I should've just put Game Master or something, but that didn't occur to me until after everything was done. =P

"... Alright. Let's see if Kaze wants to help." Sakeo said with a grudging nod.

OOC: This won't end well. =P

The sand simply made a u-turn suddenly.

-==IC: Hunter==-

"Because he believes that we aren't able to find him here." A random Chaos Hunter who hung from one of the nearby multitude of wires and other metal objects said, as he looked straight at Marik and Aki.

OOC: =P

-==IC: Kaze==-

Kaze had ignored everyone's comments after that, as Kazuki and Dawn wanted to know more about what happened. Kaze, however; was not up for reliving that, aside from in his head.
What went wrong? I had it all right... Kaze thought, as he made his way to the training room that he and Sonia had been sparring in earlier that morning. Kaze growled, and slammed his fist against the wall, which didn't really do anything.
Teleport to one person, free Kali, and then free Sonia... It was the right plan... So why didn't it work? Kaze asked, as he shook his head in resignation. Kaze then noticed a staff that laid on the ground, and recognized it as one of the weapons that Sonia used when she trained in preparation for fights against the Hunters. Kaze growled, and set up a training dummy, as he prepared to train more, so as to prevent this from happening ever again.

OOC: I should've posted this a while ago, but I expected the M'Raize fight to last a little longer. =P

Marik stabbed the CH through the face with his sword. "d'ya want to stand and fight or run?"

The hunter then crashed to the ground in a very comical way, hitting every single beam and wire in his path on the way down to the ground, as he then landed on the ground hard. Of course; since he was already stabbed in the face, he didn't feel a thing. His friend, who was waiting on the other side, however, was none too impressed that said Hunter had been killed; especially that easily, and drew his sword as he blocked the way back to the ground. The way you'd survive, that is, of course.

Aki smashes through the door, only to find a tiny closet stuffed to overflowing with costumes.  He pulls out a rack and sends it rolling at the Chaos Hunter.

OOC: No blowing this place up, OK?  I (real me) have to take classes here after this, so...

The Hunter quickly jumped over the rack, and then landed in front of Aki. The Hunter then slashed out at Aki quickly.

Aki went flying off the platform, and barely managed to snag the next catwalk over with his whip.  He begins to pull himself up.  The cut across his chest, though shallow, burns with every move.

OOC: Blade, some taunts about being evil would be much appreciated.

EDIT: OOC: ABOUT THE CHARACTER BEING EVIL.  The CH needs to taunt Aki.  Just thought I should make that clear. XP

"Heh. You evil people are always the same... You try, and fail, to destroy us with your energy blasts... but we always win. And we always will." The hunter taunted with a smirk on his face, as he walked forward toward Aki.

OOC: Wait; hang on; Aki being evil, or the Hunter? =P

OOC: Aki being evil.  Keep it up, a bit more and he'll get back enough memory to make him feel worse! 

IC:
"E-evil?"  Aki strained to remember, but while he was distracted, the Chaos Hunter slashed him again with his weapon.  Aki cried out, as his right arm had a deep cut in it.  He put his shortsword away awkwardly as he backed away from the hunter.  Of course, if he could have seen behind him, he might have spotted a section of catwalk with the railings removed...

"Yes; you are a Chosen One. And due to their powers; all Chosen Ones are evil." The Hunter said, a more evil smirk on his face, as he advanced toward the amnesiac.

OOC: This is funny. =P

Something stirred in Aki's mind.  He flashed back to the batle in which he'd woken up.  He'd heard shouts, screaming...the people wearing his uniform were being called "Ki Demons" by the hunters in white...hunters that, except for their color, seemed strikingly similar to the man attacking him now.  He concentrated harder, and remembered one of them saying, "For your numerous atrocities, you were exiled.  But now, in retribution for your cold-blooded murders, join your victims in death!"  Wae he evil?  He thought back.  He had seen dozens of slain hunters around him...had he done that?  Had he killed them?  He felt like he was falling.  Then he realized he was falling-right off the catwalk!  He hit the cushioned seats of the theatre, smashing through them to the concrete floor below, but since it was the back of the auditorium, the fall was not as long as it had seemed, and he lived.  But he was stunned, and above him he saw the Chaos Hunter ready his blade and prepare to follow with what would surely be a killing blow.  "I...am...evil...and now I must pay..." Aki murmured weakly, a tear running down his face.

The Hunter, wearing his typical black uniform smirked, as he raised his sword with a smirk... However, his expression then turned to one of shock and surprise, as a cut suddenly appeared on his torso; and his shoulder was sliced into.
"Could you stop with the 'oh I'm so much better than you guys are' speeches? I'm getting really tired of them." A voice sounded out, as the sword blade that sliced the Hunter was pulled back, and the owner of the voice walked closer to where the Hunter was; a person in varying shades of grey armour, with a red visor on his helmet. The Hunter then growled, as he snapped his fingers, and ten more Chaos Hunters appeared.

OOC: I don't think it'd be good if you died so soon. =P Ten guesses to what element this Chosen One has. =P

Marik decapitated two of the hunters from behind, and turned to face the hunters, standing along with the red-and-gray Chosen One

He looks familiar......

"get up Aki" Marik said, and reached into his pocket, activating his Ki armor. Spiked gunmetal formfitting metallic plate armor flared into existence around him, including a mathing helmet that looked mideval, aside from the transluent visor built in.

OOC: It's not Akaki, or whatever his name is. =P ... Wait... You just gave me an idea. =O

But either way, the Alt Dimension Akaki doesn't have an element. =P

-==IC: Newcomer==-

The new Chosen One smirked, as he held his spiked sword up, and then slashed it out at the Hunters, even though he wasn't anywhere near them. However, in mid strike, the blade split into multiple sections, and slashed through one of the Hunters, before it hit the wall behind the Hunter, and then the Chosen One whipped it back, and utilized it as a Whip for the moment, though it always struck the target that the Chosen One wanted it to.

OOC: Basically his sword is Renji from Bleach's sword.

Marik O_O'd, then thought where do i get myself one'a those?

He then proceeded to start killing of the CHs

OOC: Guess 1: Magnetism.  Only reason I know the color is because that was what my entry to the Stasis toa contest was going to be.

IC: Aki slowly stood to his feet.  He had no clue who the newcomer was, but he seemed to be on his side.

But if "my side" is evil...

Aki shook off the thought.  The only things he remembered caring about were honor and loyalty.  The man in gray and the man with the flaming green sword had saved his life.  He would try to do the same.  He readied his whip, and that's when he noticed a small switch on it.  He flipped the switch and lashed out at the nearest Chaos Hunter.  Suddenly, the Hunter shrieked and was thrown back, slightly stunned.  A taser?  How strange, Aki thought.  His thoughts were starting to become clearer, less disjointed.  He supposed it had to do with the fall.  I'll have to thank the dark man for that.  Perhaps by sparing him the dishonor of reporting a defeat to his boss.  By killing him, of course.  Yes, repayment for both of his deeds.  He turned to the injured Hunter and lashed out again, this time trying to snare his throat with the whip.

OOC: For the record, Aki always uses the whip in his left hand.
EDIT: OOC2: For clarity, picture Zero Suit Samus' B-side move here.  The physical whip is like ZSS' B-side and grab moves, while the Ki whip (when he learns it) is more like regular Samus' grab attacks and ZSS' B-up move.
