After an instrumental part, Kaze finished the song off with the last part of the lyrics.

Noting that Kaze forgot something, Kenji leaned towards his mic as Kaze finish his last lines. He quietly sang the last 5 words.

"Any way the wind blows~"

Novia finished with cymbals after the line.

After that, even though the Chaos Hunters were the enemies, they clapped, and one even yelled out, "You're great!". Needless to say, that earned a whack to the back of his head by his superior.

Kenji couldn't help but smile at the reaction the crowd gave.

As the crowd was paying not much attention to Kaze, he quickly suggested a song via the C.O.D.E.X's built in messenger, which sent the message to the group's armour or CODEX, which was a backup in case the Armour wasn't activated.
"... Velonica by Aqua Timez?" The message read...

Kenji looked around, walking up towards the mic, motioning Kaze to where he was standing. He turned towards Novia, Sakeo, and Kaze, nodding, hoping they would catch on to the fact that he was starting Velonica. Sakeo quickly jumped in with his keyboard, setting up his background music alongside his riffs.

As Kaze started to play, he wondered if Dawn and Kai were getting anywhere...

Meanwhile, Kai was running through the tower, hoping that there wasn't anymore guards around the tower, that way he wouldn't have to fight so soon and he could keep his strength for if they had to fight later on, or to actually fight Kaze...

As the music actually got to the "rock" part, Kenji took a deep breath; he was gonna be spewing a lot of words.

The "band" rapidly slowed down, matching with Kenji's next few lines.

They came to the first chorus;

Kenji cut off, allowing for a couple bars of filler. He took another breath.

Kaze kept playing, while matching Kenji in the chorus mostly.

/EDIT: Meanwhile, Dawn was walking around the other part of the tower, and then noticed some bars in one of the rooms,a nd ran in, and saw a bunch of cells with bars on them, and ran up to one of them, which had Sonia in it.
"Sonia!" Dawn called out, and Sonia turned around, with a look of shock on her face.
"You found me? Good, I was getting a little bit tired of being stuck in here..." Sonia said, and an ominous chuckling sounded behind Dawn.
"Hmm... So, some rats have gotten in my tower... And have found my prisoner. I'll have to fix that." The person said, as he walked towards Dawn...

OOC: So, one family revelation for Kaze this chapter, and one for him next chapter. >=D

IC:
Meanwhile, Kenji continued singing, as much of the band cut out for a bit. Novia quickly jumped back in with her drums after his first line.

kono na no hanabatake ni kimi wa ita no ka na

Kaze and Sakeo jumped back in at this point, with Kaze echoing Kenji as necessary.

The group quickly brought up the chorus music again, although Kenji changed the words.

The music suddenly cut out to Kaze for a bit, playing a riff, only to have the others join back in with something a bit calmer.

As Kai was making his way past a bunch of Chaos Hunters that were running down the hall, paying no attention to him as he was in the shadows, one of them paused and put his hand to his ear, and motioned to the other one with him, and ran in the direction they were just coming from.
...? What's that all about...

Kaze played his riff, letting everyone else join back in a couple bars later. Before long, Kenji and Kaze were singing again.

The chorus music came back again, allowing Kenji to finish.

kokoro de wa nai dokoka ni kotae wa nai to shiru tame"

The foursome played the outro in time, before leaving the last note to die out for a rather large croud of Chaos Hunters.

OOC: Disky gets to pick the last song now. We also have one last song to play in the chapter after that, but not now. And I pick it. =P

Kaze smiled at the reaction, though kinda thinking that this scene was kinda weird.

IC:
Kenji took a deep breath; that was more words than he had thought. And yet he immersed himself in the cheers and shouts of the croud, as strange as it was.

IC (Novia):
Eventually the cheering and applause began to die down, and Novia used that to nod to everyone. She summoned a microphone for herself. Sakeo entered with the piano, and Novia began,
"How can you see into my eyes -
Like open doors?
Leading you down into my core,
We're I've become so numb..."
The guitar started at that point, and then Novia continued,
"Without a soul,
My spirit's sleeping somewhere cold,
Until you find it there
And lead it back home."
After that was a short pause. Novia grabbed her drumsticks, and then the entire group went into the next part.

Kenji began playing along, letting Kaze sing the male vocals this time; his throat was dry from singing, and he could go for a glass of water.

OOC: I'll sing my parts ahead of time, then Disky can post the rest of the song part that I skip.

"Wake me up!" Kaze said into the microphone as the group got into the chorus, while he was playing his guitar.
"I can't wake up! Save me! Wake me up! I can't wake up! Save me!" He sang as he finished his part of the first chorus.

OOC: I'll stick a ^ in where Kaze's part was.

IC (Novia):
Novia moved into the chorus, and she and Kaze were exchanging the lines. "Wake me up inside! ^ Wake me up inside! ^ Call my name and save me from the dark! ^ Bid my blood to run... ^ Before I come undone! ^ Save me from the nothing I've become!"

Keeping up with the drums, Novia sang the next part,
"Now that I know what I'm without,
You can't just leave me!
Breathe into me and make me real,
Bring me to life..."
