Kenji did a spinning-sidestep-type-thing to avoid the pillar, then fired off a couple rounds of Ki blasts near his feet.

OOC: It is here that I note that Ki blasts are Kenji's only ranged techinque ATM, other than throwing his cleaver. xD

Aneton smirked, as he walked forward toward Kenji, slightly dodging the Ki Blasts.

Sadly for Aneton, the blasts weren't supposed to hit him. The blasts opened a hole beneath his feet in an attempt to knock him to the floor below.

Unluckily for Kenji, he had anticipated holes like that opening during the fights, and thus, the roof was made of reinforced steel.

OOC: Sorry, don't want the water flooding down yet, which is why I had a little mini-ledge where the water stops from flooding down the stairs. And I'm checking now.

Kenji noted a small hole, but there was no toilet bowl effect like he had hoped for (Especially with taking Aneton with it). So he teleported before Aneton and began striking blows, each of which were blocked in turn.

Aneton then teleported behind Kenji, and aiming a kick at his back.

Kai reached the top floor, and looked at the stairs to the roof, and ran up to it, bursting the door open.

Kaze was now on the second floor, but was panting, as he was going slowly to replenish his strength and Ki.

Kenji took the kick, using it to roll across the roof and stand up a distance away. He then sheathed his sword.

OOC: I take it you read your mail? =P

OOC: yes. And I find the result hilarious, as when I reply I'll mention in more a more interesting way. Hint, I kinda mentioned something like it last night. =P And this should happen more often; my EoT game's running out of use. =P

Aneton slowly approaching, holding his staff on his shoulder.

Kenji held his left arm out, palm open. "Kojaku."

A blue light made of Ki formed the shape of a bow, which Kenji then grasped. Hen then proceeded to fire off several Ki arrows at Aneton.

OOC: Another form of Ki summon. And this is the first time he's used this. =P

OOC: Sweet. And you've gotta stop letting Monster Houses obliterate you. I lost Gallade on that mission, and almost had to retry it until I found my Foe-Fear orb I picked up. Though I did get two Red Gummis and a Royal Gummi out of it. =P

Aneton was surprised, and intrigued, but attempted to bat the arrows away with his staff.

OOC: Actually... There was no monster house. A Mantine killed my Munchlax before I could use Thunderbolt. Stupid forgetting to use Oran berries... >_>

But I did join up with a Mantyke. =D

Kenji kept firing. He ws thinking of how to upgrade his bow, but he realised he wasn't yet strong enough for it.

Aneton teleported away to Kenji's side, and aimed to try and send a Water pillar at it, as Kai ran up, and slashed at Aneton, which he just barely blocked.
"Interesting... You've now got backup." Aneton said, as Kai looked over to Kenji with an obviously annoyed expression on his face.
"You Cool Dude, what are you doing!?"

OOC: I did no such thing. I died inbetween two rooms. =P

"Thanks, I think you're pretty cool too," Kenji said with a half smile, teleporting to the other side of the roof to continue firing.

OOC: 0_o and you died in the corner of the monster house room, as that's where the rescue flag was. =P

"I didn't call you cool,you Cool Dude!" Kai said, facepalming, as Aneton teleported to the other side of the room as well.

OOC: Then obviously the floors are different between our two games. =P

IC:
"Yeah, yeah, I know," Kenji said, firing an arrow at point-blank before teleporting again.

OOC: The floors are definitely the same. Heck, I went through the same first floor both times I rescued you. =P And xD at the filter jokes. =P

The arrow hit him, but Aneton didn't seem to care, and just approached Kenji, as Kai growled, and drew his shortsword, the gem at the end catching Kenji's glance for a second for some reason.

OOC: That's important.

OOC: Then the rescue points are different. =P

Kenji drew his gaze away from the gem, firing off Ki arrows at Aneton, hoping Kai could keep him in one place.

OOC: Ooh importance. =O
And Kenji's a good enough shot not to hit his allies unless they're being Cool Dudes.

As Aneton was about to teleport away, three rapidly fired Ki Blasts hit Aneton, making him stumble forward into the blasts, but he just dusted himself off after he got hit, and sent two Water Pillars at the Chose Ones.

Kenji alternated between Aneton and the water pillar, hoping to either break his concentration or break the pillar. If neither worked, he'd dodge at the last second.

Kai jumped away, as the rest of the group got up the stairs, and Aneton dropped the pillars, and turned his attention to the rest.
"Perfect. Now we just need our final guest to arrive."
