Aneton just laughed, as the slashes didn't seem to do anything.

Kenji was getting more irked by the second, so he switched his fighting style from conventional to something more like fencing. In other words, he started to stab the heck out of Aneton.

Aneton kept laughing, and then got serious. In other words, he started pounding on Kenji as the others watched.

OOC: Any guesses to why he's not taking your attacks seriously?

Kenji took the blows, this time aiming for a headshot with his katana.

Kaze opened his eyes.
It's time. Kaze thought, activating his Ki aura, as jumped up and broke through the floor of the floor above him, and pulled himself up, and then ran up the stairs to the roof...

Just as Kaze ran up the stairs, the attack him. However... The Katana just stopped as it seemed to touch Aneton's head.
"Nice try." Aneton said, as he roundhouse kicked Kenji away, only for him to get knocked into Kaze.

"Gah... Sorry about that, Kaze..." Kenji said, picking himself up. "But this guy is pretty weird. Almost nothing I do hurts him..."

"What...?" Kaze said, getting up, and looking at Aneton, who just laughed.
"And it looks like our final guest is here... But first. Dawn! You're the next one to fight me... Along with our first guest. I can take both of you on at the same time." Aneton said, with an arrogant smile on his face, as Dawn frowned, drew her longsword, and grabbed the card out of her pocket, and scanned it across the C.O.D.E.X, transforming into her armour, and getting ready.

OOC: Kaze'll fight last in a tag battle against Aneton. And the Cross System will make an appearance. And since everyone's Ki essentially hit everyone during this chapter at one point or another, everyone already has everyone else's cross form waiting to be activated. And it's possible that the water blasts may possibly count... We'll see...

He doesn't think he's done with me... Does he? Well, he's wrong about that...

Kenji teleported into the air behind Aneton, lashing out with an aerial roundhouse kick.

Aneton grabbed Kenji's foot without even looking at him, and as Dawn ran forward, Aneton kicked her down toward the ground, slightly denting the floor.

OOC: Ouch. Also, remember that ability I mentioned? I think certain people can also get it. Probably only the main chars of the active people. =P

OOC: Whoops. Oh well. Make Kenji think that he was "done" by adding more people. =P

Kenji proceeded to lash out with his other foot.

OOC: Which ability was that, again? =P

Aneton simply threw Kenji away, as he lashed out with his foot at Dawn, sending her into the wall.
"Hmph. Next, you three." Aneton said, motioning to Sakeo, Novia, and Kai.

OOC: Also, Aneton mentioning Dawn's name was just me being lazy and not thinking up an alt name for her. =P

IC:
Kenji flew across the roof, landed, bounced, then landed and skid almost off the roof. He dragged himself back on, before struggling to his feet. If it weren't for the armor, he'd be out by now, probably.

OOC: High Ki output + Injuries + Chased by army = Blah mode.

OOC: xP You noticed my inspiration for the name, eh? =P

The others didn't exactly fare much better, getting thrashed as well fairly quickly, and not getting a single bit of damage done.
"Now... The last two. Hikari and the girl. And the first guest can join in if he really wants to, but given that he's so weak..." Aneton taunted, as Sonia activated her armour, and Kaze drew his Chainblade and got into a battle pose.

OOC: Soon... The limits are off. >=D

Now Kenji was angry. Nobody calls him weak.

Kenji reached out with his mind, and started forming barriers. Tiny ones. But where?

Inside Aneton, of course.

Yes, 6 in each nostril, 5 down his wind pipe, and of course, 20 in and around his vocal cords. And a an apple-sized ball in his mouth. That'd shut him up. Now all that was left was for him to fall over from lack of breathing.

OOC: Hey... You were right about the limits being off. xD

Aneton raised an eyebrow, and concentrated. Soon after, water started flowing out of his nose and mouth, and after a few seconds, he breathed in.
"Ah, much better." Aneton said, raising his staff just in time to block a combined attack by Sonia and Kaze.

OOC: Now, now, we can't miss Kaze getting owned as well, as well as the intriguing part of this fight.

OOC: Didn't see that coming. xD

IC:
Kenji, unhappy with his result, retried his attack, with the addition of a barrier around Aneton's brain, keeping all of his brain-like-thoughts inside his brain and not out.

OOC: Find some way to beat that, and I'll make Kenji fall downish. =P

OOC: I'd be glad to. =P In fact, it'll be a little bit of a hint as to his undefeatableness... >=D

As Kenji tried that however, he could feel the barriers shattering, and something that looking like water's ripples around his head and neck that quickly faded.

Meanwhile, Sonia had been knocked away pretty easily, and Kaze himself was only holding his own, even with his Armour activated.
"Hah. You will never defeat me. Imagine Lord Neo's pleasure when I am the one to capture the ones who have irritated him for so long." Aneton smirked, as a few tendrils of water appeared on all four sides of Kaze, and struck him simultaneously, causing him to fall to his knees, and then sideways onto his back, knocked out.

Kenji fell to one knee, panting hard; he was injured, his Ki was just about gone, he was tired, and he was he only one left able to kneel, let alone stand. He could still think, but he didn't like what he was thinking of: A solution. Why didn't he like it?

He had none.

OOC: OOH, I could bring in *That Guy*  and have them duke it out. =O
That is, unless you have something better planned. =P

OOC: I do. Unless you can buy us some time, but even then I can probably buy us just enough time with this distraction. But remember back in the Training Room...? >=D

Aneton smirked triumphantly.
"I have done it. With the invulnerability that Lord Neo has granted me, I have defeated the greatest warriors of the Chosen Ones." Aneton said out loud, briefly turning his head.
"Hmph. So, some reinforcements have arrived. No matter." Aneton said, as the remainder of the Chaos Hunter Army stationed at the tower moved to attack the Chosen Ones who were coming to back up the group on the roof.
"Now!" Aneton said, as he held his hands up, and the tower started to shake.

Meanwhile...

". . . W-where am I...?" Kaze said out loud, as he opened his eyes and found himself laying on his back. This place, however, was not wet at all. Or even up high. In fact, it seemed to be dirt or so. Kaze slowly got up, and looked around, as a voice went 'Hmph' behind him. Kaze turned around, to see the inner self he had faced earlier, in a more dark, Kaze-like form.
"So. You fought against a Chaos Guardian and got yourself handed to you on a silver platter. Boo hoo. And now you're expectin' me to help you? Should I really? Hmph. I'm not sure, seeing as you went and banged up that body of yours I'm still plannin' on eventually taking. But on the other hand, if I don't help you, somethin' worse will probably happen to it. Besides, I kinda did agree to help you. Fine. Just this time. And on one condition... If you ever get this busted up again... I'm takin' over. The 'shadow Kaze' said, not even giving Kaze a chance to speak, but then he closed his eyes.
"However. This will take a few minutes to fully unlock your innate powers you have yet to realize. Even then, I'm not tellin' you what those powers are. Now just be a good little kid and don't try to move." The shadow Kaze continued, as he disappeared from sight, and Kaze closed his eyes.
