Kenji did a final check-over of the basement, the explosions growing louder as he did. He then went to a box on the wall and flipped some switches, securing the place. Then he teleported out, ending up near Kaze and Novia.

The blasts hit a barrier, as the unknown attackers fired a return blast at the helicopter.

"I'm fine, it was only my shoulder." Kaze said, as he got up, and started running, right where Kenji was teleporting, accidentally crashing into him.

IC (Rakoua):
The helicopter rocked, but I managed to regain controll, for the time being. I had to wait for the others tho: I fired more blasts in that direction...

Unfourtnately for Kaze, Kenji had developed a skill that kept him from falling, akin to a wall or pillar. So he instead picked him up off the ground and said with a smile, "Watch where you're going, knucklehead."

"Oh, hi Kenji," Novia greeted him as she ran over, shaking her head at Kaze's clumsiness.

Kaze rubbed his head.
"Just what is your body made of? Steel?" Kaze joked, as a couple mroe explosions sounded out closer to the group.
"... First of all, we may wanna get out of here..." Kaze said, and pulled out his C.O.D.E.X.
"Gen 2, just released. Not many new features, but it has a new menu layout, and apparently support for something, though Kazuki wouldn't say what." Kaze said, as he put the device on his arm.
"Let's go."

Something like that... Kenji thought to Kaze's joke, even if he had been only working out these past two years. He looked at his Gaobrace, remembering that Kazuki had to personally update his, due to the modifications that had been done to it.

Kenji then followed Kaze, not exactly sure where he was going.

[Rakoua]

IC (Rakoua):
The exchange of fire continued, causing severe damage to the helicopter... One of the rotor blades even flew straight into Kazuki's office, into his "I Love Frogs" cup and obliaterated it. I quickly repaired it with Ki, but I had to retreat...

Kazuki was peacefully reading his morning paper, and drinking from said cup, as the rest had already been used, when the rotor blade flew through his office, smashing his cup and taking his morning paper with it, leaving only a handful of the paper, and the handle of the mug.
"... Oh boy, what's going on this time...?" Kazuki said, sighing, as he grabbed his own C.O.D.E.X., this one without the arm holder since he doesn't wear it that often, and transformed into his armour quickly.

Kaze, meanwhile, ran outside quickly, and looked around, getting a barrier up at the last second as he was fired at.

OOC: Oh boy.

IC (Rakoua):
"Any help here?" I yelled, having crashed the helicopter (But it did survive) into the ground, trying to hold up a barrier around myself...

The blasts kept aiming at the helicopter, damaging it further with every blast.

OOC: Just don't blow it up completly, I mean, how AWESOME is having a helicopter around when you need it?

IC (Rakoua): I extended the barrier around the helicopter, and then one of the blasts broke trought he barrier and almost hit me, sending my flying ten meters and into the school wall...

Kaze just watched from behind the barrier, and shook his head, as the blasts turned back towards the school's dorm.

OOC: I kinde ripped it apart for parts, and it didn't have the right paintjob.

IC (Rakoua):
"Gah..." Suddenly, another blast smashed into the school, shrapnel flying everywhere...

Kenji stood there, watching with boredom. Then, all of a sudden, his eyes widened. He teleported away quickly.

"Wha-" Kaze asked as Kenji teleported away, but stood his ground, as there were still people behind him, namely Novia.

Covered in rubble, I used my whatever-do-you-call-it-now to call Kaze for some help...

"Kinda busy right now..." Kaze said into the C.O.D.E.X., as the barrier started to have it's energy fluctuate where the blasts kept hitting it, likely getting weaker...

Kenji teleported back, now wearing his katana and his cleaver. "Don't wanna forget these," he said, adding his own Ki into the barrier, supporting it.
