 Matt grunted and flew onto his back. He kicked himself back up, summoning a knife into his right hand in the same moment. And he pulled out a clear vial with his left. "Skye?" He asked, now wary of what he'd done.

Skye squinted in the bright sunlight, and looked up at Matt. "Yes....?" she said, hesitantly.

OOC: what's the vial for?

[Mahri828]

OOC: It's posion, so I would hazard a guess at an advantage if things got out of hand. =P

 "Skye." He said with a fake laugh. "It's Matt. I was in Terakou with you for a short while, before we went searching for that person for Kazuki."

[Jade]

"Oh... I... don't remember you." She carefully got to her feet, and eyed the knife warily. "What are you doing out here?"

[Mahri828]

-==IC: Matt==-

 "I'm..." He stopped suddenly and gave her a steely stare down. "That's why I know you're name... You're the one who M'raize was fighting over with the other two." He tried to smile, but it never reached his eyes. "As for your question, I'm walking. I got into an arguement with someone, and I... left for a while."

OOC: Has Skye even seen M'raize with his tattoos yet?

OOC: nope, she hasn't.

Skye frowned. "So... you walked all the way out here, in the middle of the desert?"

[Mahri828]

OOC: Just don't stab him when you see him. =P

 Matt laughed. "I teleported, and started walking. It's very calming out here." Inside he was laughing. If she knew M'raize, and M'raize liked her... This could work very well. "You're lucky I found you. You can die out here rather quickly without water you know."

[Jade]

Skye nodded slowly. "I... guess so." she said, still unsure if Matt was trust-worthy or not.

 Matt didn't offer her a hand. "What were you doing here in the desert?"

[Jade]

"I... erm... was practicing my juggling skills." Skye said, and then mentally facepalmed herself. Juggling? Really?! That's the best excuse I could come up with?

 Matt kept his expression firm. "With sand?"

[Jade]

-==IC: Skye==-

Skye weakly smiled. "Mental juggling. Much harder than regular juggling."

[Mahri828]

 Matt gave the same cold smile as before. "Would you be willing to tell me something about M'raize?" Matt said, though it was placed more as a demand than a question.

Again, Skye paused before saying anything. Something seemed... wrong, about Matt. "What... did you want to know?"

 "How would you say that he feels toward you?"

[Jade]

Skye blushed, and hoped Matt wouldn't notice. "I'd say we're pretty good friends."

[Mahri828]

 Matt noticed the blush. It seemed like he had been right. "If you were to ask M'raize the question I asked you, what do you think he would say. Let's put it that way."

[Jade]

Skye's face went a deeper shade of pink "I... er... He'd........ probably say the same thing?"

OOC: Actually, he probably wouldn't answer. =P

 Matt noticed the deepening blush with interest. "Would you say he's a good enough friend that he'd come looking for you?" Matt knew the question was too far the second it was out of his mouth. He mentally berated himself and hoped that Skye passed it over.

"He's came looking for me in the past, I don't know why he wouldn't now." Suddenly, Skye had a very bad feeling something was going to happen. "Why?"
