 M'raize was caught off guard, and Sakeo succeeded in knocking him back, he staggered, then raised his sword into a defensive position. Sakeo was destroying him, what was happening. He eradicated his mind of everything but the fight, and rushed to lock swords again, this time ready for any sort of trickery.

OOC: Destroy the wall now, in this practice fight?

(Grant): "I knew this was a bad idea!"
(Tori): "Since when have my plans ever been bad ideas?"
(Carrie): "Since when has stuffing ourselves into giant hamster balls and launching ourselves across the state with a giant catapult to get to Disneyland NOT been a bad idea?!  In fact, why did I even go along with this?!?!"
(Grant): "To be fair, the Disneyland part's not a bad idea, it's the rest of it that kinda went wrong..."

Just as the fireball was about to roast the three humans, three giant clear plastic spheres smacked into them at high speed.  They were safe from the fireball.  They also weren't about to wake up anytime soon.

OOC: Next post: crash-landing at Disneyland.  Oh, and Blade?  Shiro pays for parking, and they'd BETTER not tow my car!

Shiro blinked as he saw three objects fly out of the large fireball, and went '0_o', as he saw it was the three combatants... And three giant hamster balls?
Oh don't tell me... Shiro thought, as he thought he recognized the people inside said hamster balls, as he drove toward the target location... DisneyLand.

After kicking Aki and falling of the car, QT rushes to Disneyland, finding no one there.

OOC: Jade, now would be an excellent time for Skye to decide to take the boys to Disneyland.

IC: Aki awoke groggily.  A giant clear hamster sphere lay on the ground next to him, shattered.  There was no sign of the occupant, but the only blood in the area appeared to be his.  He guessed that was a good sign.

Aki looked around, and saw he was in a mountainous area, seemingly near an old-style mining camp.  Surprisingly, the equipment still seemed to be in operation; in fact, he could have sworn he had seen it carrying a large raft to the top of the mountain...

That's when a tourist with Mickey ears and a camera tapped him on the shoulder.  "Excuse me, but do you know when they begin seating for World of Color?"  Aki shook his head, surprised and confused.  "OK, then," the tourist said, "can I get a picture with you for my daughter?  She's really into that crazy anime stuff."

That's when Aki realized; he wasn't in the mountains.  He was at Disneyland.  Grizzly River Rapids in California Adventure, to be exact.  He wondered how he knew that.  He also wondered why he felt so strange...maybe a side effect of the crash-landing.

A group of security guards rushed past, guns drawn.  Well, I guess I know where that sand maniac went.  One of the guards, lagging behind the rest, saw the tourist pulling out his camera to take a picture of Aki while his back was turned.  "Sir!  Please, no pictures of other guests without their consent.  And, uh, sir," he said, turning to Aki, "No costumes for anyone over the age of 10.  I'm gonna have to ask you to leave, sir."  That's when he notices the shattered fragments of plastic underfoot.  "What the--?"

Aki had no clue why he did it.  He wasn't even aware he had acted.  But the next thing he knew, both men were plastered against the cliff face, leaving six-inch-deep craters in the concrete.  Did I do that? he wondered.  He shook his head, readied his weapons, and made his way toward the Chaos Guardian.

***Two minutes later, in front of Soarin' Over California...***
The Guardian was still unconscious.  Nearly two dozen security guards surrounded the crash site, guns drawn on the still-armored figure.  Aki saw the Guardian stir slightly, and suddenly the world went into slow motion.  One of the younger guards jumped, startling his friend, who began to pull the trigger...

In an instant Aki made his choice.  No one deserved to die like that.  Even for someone this evil, they deserved to look death in the eye, a chance to face their end with dignity.  If he didn't do something, the Guardian wouldn't get that chance.  He rushed forward, whirling his whip-shortsword combo rapidly.  He somehow knew exactly where each bullet would be, and he batted them out of the air with ease.  A heartbeat later, he had reached the Guardian; he grabbed the man and activated his Ki Whip, launching the pair to the top of a model rocket thruster and out of harm's way for a crucial couple of seconds.  Still dragging the Guardian,  he ran along the beams and cut a hole into the building, hauling the groggy Guardian inside and closing the hole behind him.  The entire thing had taken less than ten seconds.

Aki looked over and saw recognition pass through the Guardian's eyes.  He had done a good deed; he hoped he wouldn't pay for it with his life.

OOC: Lionytai, you do realize you have to get through security right?  And they'll never let you just waltz on in with your weapons...  Heh heh heh...*imagines ensuing carnage*   Oh, and MTM, I imagine your sphere landed in the bay where they're about to start World of Color...

OOC: Well, technically the Hunters are the Police, so they could, but with everyone on high alert, that would be the likely situation, yes.

The Chaos Guardian growled, and narrowed his eyes.
"Why didn't you just let them attack me? It's not like they would've been effective, but still; you're my enemy, so why did you do that?" The Chaos Guardian asked, as he grabbed Aki with a growl, wanting to know that answer.

Aki wan't 100% sure himself, but...

"We all deserve the chance to face death with dignity, no matter what we've done.  From what I could see, you weren't going to get it.  And..." he said, a strange sensation entering the pit of his stomach, "I guess I wanted to prove we don't have to be your enemy.  I'm sure any of the others would have done the same."

OOC: How wrong he is...also, those triggers I mentioned...there's one sitting here.  Choose your answer VERY carefully.

The Chaos Guardian smirked.
"Yeah right. The only Chosen Ones we 'don't have to fight' are the ones we got to and recruited first. I can guarantee you that the other two wouldn't have done that. However; two things... One; I think you should be captured instead of killed. And two... You prove intriguing as a rival." The Chaos Guardian stated.

Aki was highly disturbed by this revelation.  "Well then, maybe I'm not so similar to the other Chosen Ones after all.  Though to be fair, have you guys even considered just...you know...asking?  And what do you mean 'got to first'?  Are there Chosen Ones--well, people who can use Ki, anyway--who work for you guys?  And..." Aki was hesitant to ask, because beneath he felt like he knew the answer, like it was within him somehow, and he knew he wouldn't like it.  "Why do you Hunters asy the Chosen Ones are evil?  Are...they?"

OOC: Three triggers here, the order in which they are tripped determines who you'll need to call and what the cause of the call will be.  Shiro needs to get to the park next post, and needs to get in the park within a couple of posts after that.

The Guardian smirked.
"They wouldn't ask us to leave them alone, any more than we would ask them to just give up. Well, maybe we would; but we don't, because we already know their answer. And all Chosen Ones need to be captured or killed." The Guardian said, in response to the first question. The second question was answered by the person who arrived behind Aki then.
"Yes; there is... I'm a Chosen Chaos Hunter." The voice said, as a male around 19 walked up from behind Aki.
"I am Naikage." The newcomer said, and the Guardian smirked.
"As for the last; they don't seem to be truly evil; but they are heavy nuisances. However; anyone against the Chaos Hunters are evil." The Chaos Guardian stated, and Naikage frowned.
"You went a little too far there... Stick to what Neo says next time." Naikage said and, the Chaos Guardian sighed.
"Alright, alright..."

Shiro arrived at Disneyland, as he had noted the spheres had crash landed already.
Where could they have gotten to, though?

OOC: OK...not quite a heelface, but... *click* *click* *click missing* Let's see the reaction when Marik and/or Shiro and/or Sakeo, Sky, and M'Raize show up to see if they push Aki over the edge.  There's some physical factors, too, so...

"Well, I don't know about most Chosen Ones, but I would have gone along with anyone who had offered me a hand up when I woke up in that alley..."  Aki is more confused than ever, but he has an annoying, nagging pulse in his gut that he was on the verge of...something.

Shiro ran through the park, as he tracked Aki's energy signature, and eventually happened upon Aki... And Naikage and the Chaos Guardian of Sand.
"Stop right there!" Shiro said, as he simultaneously held up two Ivana Assault Rifles, one pointed at the Chaos Guardian, and one at Naikage.

"One thing about that... Who's to say that they didn't do that just to get you to trust you? When I said they weren't truly evil; I meant they hadn't done anything like destroy cities or so." The Chaos Guardian said with a smirk, as Naikage raised his eyebrow.

"Right; we have to hurry though, if we want to get there anytime today..." The Chaos Hunter driving said with a slight grumble, a this wasn't his preferred mission.
