InAki returns the favor, increasing the gravity around Skye's feet enough that she can't move, but not enough to harm her.  Still, InAki finds it remarkably easy.  Strange...  "Why do you say that?  Am I trying to murder you?  Destroying everything in sight on a whim??  Look around you.  I have made whole that which was broken, restored a wounded land.  You may sense darkness from me, but it is not my own.  Some have darkness within them.  I have darkness without.  There is darkness within you, my friend.  Perhaps when you taste it, when you must resist the betrayal of your very self, you will understand."  InAki gently grabs Marik with his Ki Whip.  "I'm sure Marik does.  Farewell, Chosen One of Earth.  Think on my words.  They may become important sooner than you think."  With that, InAki grabs Marik and teleports them away.

Marik groaned, opened his eyes, and noticed he was back in primary control. Alright thoron, battle plans? he asked, noticing aki and skye. suddenly they teleported away, and he swore to himself. alrighty then.....

InAki and Marik appeared at Pierce, atop the ruins of the theatre building where it all started.  "Ah, good. *deactivates armor* You're awake.  We need to get this place back in shape.  Shall we?"

IC: Thoron and Marik acted as one, and instantly created a blade out of ki and drove it through Aki's chest "you think i'd HELP you?!?" he exclaimed, sprininging back and reaching for his sword, which wasn't there aw crud....

OOC: 2" wide ki blade. went right thru you, hit nothing critical. you're gonna be fine, just weakened. and really, you expected anything different?

"Marik!" Skye cried out, lunging forward. But then he and InAki disappeared, leaving her all alone. She sank to the ground with a hollow feeling in her stomach. Not him too... she thought, remembering Sonia had been taken too. "I've got to get back to the others!"

InAki expected to be weakened, or even driven back a step, but instead he simply felt...energized.  He focused Ki into the blade and pulled it from his chest, expecting blood or even bits of internal organs.  Instead...there was nothing.  No wound.  As if it had never happened at all.  What the heck?  That's when he realized something else odd.  "What the ****, Marik, I thought you were on my side!  You rescued me here, I thought I could trust you!"  He reactivated his armor, putting down the visor and readying all his weapons, including the Ki blade.  "I guess the Chaos Hunters I was talking to before my dark self emerged were telling the truth after all.  All Chosen Ones would rather kill than heal, would rather destroy than rebuild."  With a flash of light, the fragments of rubble around the campus swirled around impossibly fast, rebuilding the place in a heartbeat, as if nothing had ever happened.  The moment it was complete, InAki teleported the pair of them back to Skye.  "I helped you.  I protected you from the Chaos Hunters.  I saved your life.  And this is how you repay me." InAki gestured with the sword, which still glowed with Marik's Ki color.  "By stabbing me through the chest.  By trying to murder me."  InAki dropped the blade, and it shattered into Ki.  He looked first at Marik, then at Skye.  "Naikage was right.  You're just as much a menace as the Chaos Hunters are.  The difference is, they protect their own."  InAki turned and stormed away, towards the parking lot.

OOC: Blade, what happens when an Inner Ki Being and their normal self end up agreeing on something?  Given Aki's...unique situation, I'm gonna guess something bad.  (And no, he still doesn't know, he's remembering that brief conversation just before Real!Aki came out.)  Unless you're ready for some major disruption to the Chaos Hunters, you might want to get someone out here to calm InAki down...fast.

"Aki you tried to KILL US ALL! SEVERAL TIMES!"  Marik jumped to his feet. Let him go... Warned Thoron "Aki YOU turned against us, not the other way around!"

OOC: M'Raize has a thing for fighting Chaos Guardians, doesn't he?  Yeah, he's gonna end up joining in on the whole Skye deal (provided we gan get within 20 feet of her without being attacked), so that'll be an easy motivation.

"Stop." Shiro said, panting, as he held his shoulder, and stumbled toward Aki and the others slightly. It could be seen that he'd been in a massive battle just now; however with which of the opponents from the fight, is hard to tell.
"Aki. There's more to this than you can realize. Than you can know about." Shiro said, as he nearly tripped a time or two, but neared the scene.
"Until just a little while ago; you were out of control... Fighting almost everyone, and teamed up with another out of control Chosen One. The destruction you fixed up in the park... Wasn't exactly from the others fighting." Shiro said with a slight frown.

OOC: Forgot about him for a bit there. =P

Flipz: First, what to you mean disruption; to the Chosen Ones, or Hunters? =P

Second, basically... If you and your Inner Ki Being are essentially one again in thoughts and goals, after unlocking everything already... Well... let's just say this: You thought Ki Aura with Armour active was powerful? This would be way more powerful. You'd have access to a wide range of abilities you didn't realize you could use, and since you're not wasting part of your energy to resist your inner self; synchronizing with your Inner Ki Being would basically unlock massive power.

In fact, I even focus on that bit during the last little bit of the actual story to this; but obviously that's too far off to be any help. =P

However, if that changes, well, you can't really keep that power unless your goals line up once more, or something else, but I'd like to work on that second method before mentioning it. =P

QT realized it's just a dream, but another fruit fell on his head agian, sending him unconscious.

"What?  That's not possible.  My dark self is petty, cruel, and power-hungry, but one thing he's NOT is powerful.  There's no way he could have done all that in the few minutes I was unconscious.  You're just making excuses for your bloodthirsty friends."  However, he didn't raise his weapons back to attack position, in case Shiro was telling the truth.

OOC: Ooh, knifeblade...this is likely gonna depend on whether Marik or Shiro reacts first.  And, yeah, I meant disruption to the Hunters, possibly resulting in a third faction (a la the Police in TSoD).  Think CH elite teams with a conscience.

"Should I hack into the security cameras and show you?" Skye asked. "Because someone, who looks exactly like you, did destroy all that in the minutes you were unconscious." she said that last part sarcastically.

OOC: Possibly, but the big third faction will be revealed in time. Let's just say that I've been hinting toward it for a long while, and the next chapter will raise some questions.

And while that might work, we'd need to have Elites on the Hunters to start with, and most of the Elites jumped ship and are just hanging around since their players disappeared. =P ... In fact, I believe Lihze is the only Elite still around. >_>;

Shiro shook his head.
"No, I'm not. Quite a few of us went out of control. Marik did, I believe even before we got here. Kaze did, I know that for a fact, since he was the other Chosen One who went out of control." Shiro stated, and had not yet drawn a weapon.
"I believe something happened... I think Kaze's out of control form may have helped your other self. I recognized that object you had picked up back at the other place we were at; it was called an ARMOUR Module. ARMOUR's an acronym, but no-one really knows what it stands for. Anyway, that could be what amplified your other self's power, along with the help obtained." Shiro said, and winced from his injuries slightly.
"And even if you questioned that you caused this somehow... It's not in question that your other self teamed up with Kaze's other self, which is known as Omega." Shiro said with a slight frown.
"Also, earlier... I couldn't answer then, but I was not aiming at you. I was aiming at the Chaos Guardian and that Hunter. I was doing so, because of the situation that was happening." Shiro explained, not sure what else could be explained.

QT woke up again, and went to see M'raize and Sakeo.

"Are you alright?"

"I...did all this?" he said, still having trouble believing it.

OOC: go find disky and ZLS and drag them back.  Nao. And Dudebot, too, while you're at it.  (Wasn't ZLS on like a week or two ago?)

And believe me, I'd like to drag Disky and Dudebot back, but... I have no way of talking to them. =P

OOC: so marik/thoron's truce would mean....?
