"No, apparently they have the 'first floor' of the mall underground, for some odd reason." Kaze said with a shrug.

OOC: Also, Kali has fire power. =P

OOC: Is Kaze wind? Cuz then we have fire, lightning, and wind... that could get potent. XD

 "Huh." He looked around at Kaze and Kali. "Are we gonna go in?"

OOC: =P

"I believe that's the plan." Kaze stated, as if it were obvious, and rolled his eyes, as he walked in. He frowned to himself, and sighed.
At least that other guy isn't here. He could blow the whole thing. Kaze thought. As he walked into the building, he looked ahead, dreading what he sensed ahead of them. However, he doubted that either of the others sensed what he sensed either. He looked down at the device on his arm, and nodded to himself.
I know what I have to do. I just don't know what'll happen after that.

OOC: To repeat; this chapter's going to be even shorter than the main version. Things are not going to be the same as the main version, never will. Basically a what if.

 Noah followed up, curling and uncurling his fists. Something about where they were seemed... wrong.

Kaze walked forward a little further, and then smirked, as he glanced around at the thirty or so Hunters that surrounded them.
"Bravo. Wouldn't have thought our cover would be revealed so quickly." Kaze stated to seemingly thin air, as he activated his armour. It seemed a little different, but since Kaze's armour had changed like ten times since the journey began, no one paid attention.
"Now then, Santaiga, why don't you stop hiding behind your minions and fight us as you normally would?" Kaze stated, as a chuckle sounded out, and the Chaos Guardian of Sand smirked and walked forward.

OOC: Yes, we're already at the Chaos Guardian fight. It's more or less because of what's happening soon, and the fact that I want to advance this. =P

OOC: Can that particular Chaos Guardian turn to glass? =P

 Noah had activated his armor the second that Kaze finished his sentence. He'd really hoped that they wouldn't have had to fight already; it wasn't his best thing. He was really strong in lightning, but it was a little to much for him to handle... "Any tips on what to do Kaze?"

OOC: Yes. =P

"I remove his strengths, you kill him." Kaze said, barely audible, as the Chaos Guardian in question stepped forward out of the shadows, and clapped.
"Bravo, bravo... Thank you very much, for stepping right into my trap. Now... Any last words?" Santaiga asked, and Kaze smiled sadly.
"I've been around for a long time... Maybe too long. Maybe this will solve things..." Kaze muttered to himself, but then looked Santaiga in the eye, and shot his hand forward.
"KI DATA DRAIN!!!!" Kaze yelled out in desperation, as the draining wave hit Santaiga... Right about the same time that all the Chaos Hunters in the area opened fire on Kaze, a lot of the bullets piercing even the armour. Santaiga stumbled back, the attack by Kaze succeeding, even as the Chaos Guardian of Sand clutched the staff he carried with a growl. Kaze, however, dropped to his knees, his eyes blank, as he looked at the two others.
"Succeed..." Kaze stated as his armour deactivated to reveal that the wounds he had suffered were not simply ones to shrug off. Kali's eyes widened, as she raised her hands to her mouth, as Kaze collapsed to the floor; for the unthinkable had happened...

Kaze Hikari had been killed.

OOC: Plot twist mania here, and this, right here is what splits the RPG from the main storyline. Alternate universe now. Thought he'd help you out again, however, since, well, we can't exactly harm Santaiga otherwise. =P

Also helps to show that, contrary to popular belief, the Hunters aren't just fodder to slice through. =P

OOC: Okay, that was unexpected, you were right. Er... Can I ask why he died? And also, is Santaiga vulnerable at the moment?

OOC: Shock value, to show that the Hunters aren't pushovers, to force myself to showcase Kai more, to have people be devastated, to set apart the RPG from the actual story... Take your pick. =)

And yes, Santaiga's vulnerable, that was the whole point of Kaze's attack, so where he would fail, you guys could succeed.

And I knew that plot twist would surprise everyone. =) Other things, maybe not, including one that's going to happen a little while down the road; but this one... Everyone thought I wouldn't do it. Guess I just proved them wrong. =P

OOC: Okay. So it's just me and Kali now?

 Noah didn't even think about healing Kaze, the attack had come to fast. Swords he was no good with, but there was another way to finish what Kaze had started. Noah thrust out his hand, and for once, summoned complete control over lightning, sending a blinding bolt towards Santaiga's heart.

OOC: Also, will that be enough?

OOC: Yes. =P

Kali simply stood there, not sure what to say or even think, but she did look up at Santaiga in anger, as she launched a fireball at him, her face displaying both sadness and anger.
"Why?! Why do you have to take away everyone I care about?!" Kali yelled out, as she continued to throw fireballs at the Chaos Guardian quickly.

OOC: Another reason is to have every member be insane with grief in at least one of the DoaH versions at some point in time. =P And since Kali had already been heading that way with her parents being captured and maybe even killed...

OOC: Ah, I see. =P Kinda like M'raize's amnesia.

 Noah wordlessly mimed Kali's motions, though sending lightning instead of fire at the Guardian. He kept half an eye on her though, if she were to fall too... One person dying was enough.

OOC: What're we doing with Kaze's body?

OOC: Kinda... More 'I'm gonna kill all of you', though, than losing memories. =P(Hint for a later twist, story form or not, though... What could be bad enough to force Kaze to lose it?)

That wasn't something that needed to be worried about, however, as when the Hunters aimed at Kali, she sharply turned her focus to them, and a wall of fire emerged where the Hunters were with explosive force, the other side being just plain taken out with explosive force. It was very clear that Kali had both been honing her elemental potential over the last few months, and that she was ticked.

OOC: Better be prepared to carry something heavy, let's put it that way. =P

OOC: You do realize that Noah is the only non muscular character I've ever created, right? =P

 Noah winced at the heat from the flame. Keeping up his steady stream of burning light. "We need to get out of here!" He halfway shouted to Kali.

OOC: As to Kaze losing it... Lol, I don't know.

"After this guy dies." Kali stated coldly, causing the hallway behind Santaiga to explode.

OOC: Hmm. This might change a ton of things for the RPG, actually, besides the obvious. =P

 Noah nodded, now sweating from the focus required to not electrify everything in the room. "Then finish him."

Bio: Nathaniel was raised, fed, and trained to be a chaos hunter his entire life. There is no other life he knows, and for all his knowledge, one thing stands out above all. The Chosen Ones must be stopped, at all costs.

Character Description: Nathaniel has windswept dark brown hair, and steeled grey eyes. He wear dark blue (almost black) jeans, a black leather jacket, and lighter colored tight t-shirt underneath. He has little patience, and no humor. He's never gotten to talk to a chosen one, though despite his opinion of them, he wants to.
Accessories: A lot of throwing knives, hidden all over his body. And a bone necklace, though no one knows what type of bone it's made out of, or what it symbolizes. Nathaniel included.

Kali didn't answer, and simply surrounded the Guardian in a ring of fire. Kali then turned around, and began to walk away emotionlessly, a scream ringing through the air as the centre of the ring exploded in a fireball.

 Noah grabbed Kaze's body, fighting his desire to get as far away from it as he could, and dragged it out after Kali. "Can you teleport? We need to take him home." The shock of what had just happened was only just starting to affect Noah. Kaze was dead... It didn't seem real.

OOC: You got the sympathetic character too. XD

Kali didn't answer right away, and simply walked over to where Kaze was, and picked his body up, though she subtly shook her head no; she probably was in no mood to teleport correctly, and trying was more likely to get both of them killed somehow.
