 Noah nodded. "Then I'll teleport us." He had only known Kaze for a short time; Kali was probably devastated. "Back to the school?"

Kali nodded slightly.
I couldn't even do anything to prevent that... Kali thought, a frown on her face, even as Noah teleported them. She walked toward the school, as she noticed that the 'code obtained' message on Kaze's CODEX continued to flash, but she didn't pay much attention to it, as she simply walked silently.

 Noah put an arm on Kali's shoulder, halting her. "Let me carry him." He was somewhat confident that he could carry Kaze the rest of the way with his armor on; and besides, he didn't think that Kali would be able to take much more of it... That was Noah's first encounter with a Guardian. He knew that it hadn't been Kali's, she must have felt somewhat responsible for this. Stupid Hunters... I remember when I didn't know about any of this. Sometimes, I think it might have been better if it'd stayed that way.

Kali nodded, and then handed Kaze to him. Kali then took an interest in the ground, and continued to walk further, but then shook her head.
"That's twice..." Kali said quietly, a frown on her face, as she simply approached the school slowly.

OOC: Let's see... Track record with Guardians...

First encounter, before there were even Guardians: Her parents get captured.
Second encounter: Her house gets destroyed.
Third encounter: Sonia gets kidnapped.
Fourth encounter: Kaze gets killed.

Yeeeaaah... She's definitely going to be blaming herself. =P

 Noah hid the strain that the weight was causing him. "Twice?" He asked softly. Then, "Not to question or anything, if you don't want to talk, just say so, okay?"

Kali kept quiet for a while, and it seemed like she wouldn't answer. However, she sighed, and looked at Noah, a look of sadness on her face.
"I'm the reason Sonia was captured... I dropped my guard and nearly got myself killed... And in the process of having to choose; Kaze chose to save me, and the other Chaos Guardians teleported away. Though, he was only a little late there, unlike here..." Kali said, and turned back toward the school, as she kept walking in silence.

 Noah nodded slowly. "I'm sorry... If there's anything I can do..." He left the rest unsaid as they continued walking.

Kali didn't respond, as the door to the school opened; apparently their early return hadn't gone unnoticed.
"Hey! That was quick! I guess you got more lucky than expected." Sakeo called out, as he ran toward the two, but then faltered, as he detected an air of sadness. Sakeo frowned, and looked from Kali, who seemed about ready to have a mental breakdown, to Noah, and then to Kaze. Sakeo paled, and nodded slightly.
"Oh. Oh no." Sakeo said, as he understood exactly what had happened now.
"I-I'll go get someone; anyone..."

OOC: I think you just made it so I can IC M'raize; Yay! Depressing how the IC came about though.

 "I'm here." M'raize said quietly, following out the door. He hadn't been very far behind Sakeo. "What's wrong." He went from the paleness of Sakeo, then out the door to Kali, and Noah. And then Kaze. It didn't take long for him to figure out what was going on. "Sakeo, go get Kazuki, I'll go help out Noah... and find out what happened."

OOC: Yep. =/ But, hey, now we can do stuff, with minor changes. I'm gonna say that timeskip was a little longer than it would've been, just so we can head straight into Chapter 5 and onward. Also, there'll be a poll up, but, well... You're probably the only one who'll answer. =P

Sakeo nodded, and ran off; not sure how this could have happened; but now wasn't the time to think of that; he had to get the word out... Somehow...

 M'raize walked over to Noah. "Put him down." Noah just stared down at the ground, not even hearing M'raize. He took Kaze from Noah, and set him down gently in from of them both. "How did it happen?" He asked quietly.

OOC: Even M'raize is sympathetic, now look what you've done. =P

Kali simply stared at the ground as well, and started to walk back toward the school, not wanting to talk about it right now.

OOC: Yeah, this is definitely interesting. =P Meanwhile, of course, Neo's doing the victory dance.

 Noah followed behind Kali; if there was anyone that he would want to be with at the moment, it would be her...

 M'raize stood where he was, watching them go away. Sakeo needs to get here...

"Sir?" A technician asked, as Neo turned to look at him with a scowl.
"After all the failures you lot have put me through, this had better be something good." Neo growled, and the technician smiled.
"We've just gotten confirmation... Kaze Hikari has been killed. He's dead, sir." The technician said, and Neo just stared at him in shock, not really able to believe that his luck was really that good.
"What... Did you just say?" Neo asked, as he raised an eyebrow, and then smiled, and began to laugh.

Sakeo walked out of the school, as Kali pushed him out of the way as she headed back inside. Sakeo frowned, as Kai and Kazuki followed him, and Kazuki shook his head.
"Leave her... She just went through a major loss." Kazuki stated, and Sakeo frowned, but nodded.
It's times like these that make me wish I could read his thoughts; find out what he's thinking, especially in this situation... Sakeo thought, as he could not read Kazuki's thoughts at all... Likely because of the fact that he could use telepathy as well, seemingly.

 "Sakeo, Kazuki!" He called. He nodded towards Noah, who was standing straight up, shaking. "I think he's gone into shock. I'm no good with any sort of healing..."

Kazuki frowned, as he looked over Noah.
"Has he been injured in any way?" Kazuki asked, curiously.

 M'raize waved a hand in front of Noah, who had no reaction. He simply continued shivering and looking down. "I don't think so..."
