Kai nodded, and teleported back up, cloaking the light surrounding them, to reflect their surroundings, causing them to effectively be invisible.
Let's just hope that they don't just blindly shoot anyway. Kai thought, as, while they could see each other, it was taking his concentration to cloak this large an area.

"They are compressed into a micro-singularity of matter, of infintesimally small size.  When I dismiss the effect, the collected matter evaporates into pure Ki energy, and returns to the Universe.  I've thought of attempting to utilize that energy somehow, but I've never had the need."  As soon as the Chaos Hunters come into sight, InAki transforms the floor in front of them into another black hole, and several stumble into it before they can stop moving.  Despite his general unaffectedness, he appears to be weakening slightly from all of the complex Ki expenditure.

Kai shrugged, and dropped the cloak, as he held his arm out, and fired a combined beam of Ki and light, ripping through the trapped Hunters rather easily.
"Anyone else think this is too easy?" Kai muttered with a frown, as he began to move forward once more.

OOC: At this rate, we'll be at Chapter 7 by the weekend. Not that I'm complaining, makes up for 7-8 months of nothing. =P

after taking out those last chaos hunters, everything went quiet.

Kai's light beams bent downward due to InAki's Black Hole, and only injured their intended targets.  InAki rolls his eyes and dismisses the effect, instead opting to ensnare the closest Chaos Hunter with his Ki Whip and slam him against the walls, floor, ceiling, and his fellow Chaos Hunters until he was dead.

Aki noticed the sudden dead silence.  "Well, that's odd...shouldn't there be more people?"

"Good job." Shiro said with a nod, but frowned.
"Too bad you created that black hole, wanted to try magnetizing two sides of them." Shiro said with a shrug, as he walked forward, Kai and the others following.

InAki experiences a shudder of apprehension and activates his armour without any warning or apparent cause.

the group walked along for about a minute before finding more hunters. they were all standing at attendance, in front of a stage. "cloak" Marik muttered to Kai. The team of COs was on a catwalk above the small room.

Kai frowned, and moved forward into the stage room, which had more Hunters, many more... But still not as many as one would expect, especially for attending something like this.
"This can't be all of the Hunters they have, can it?" Kai muttered, but sighed.
"Either way, we need to take them down now, before they become a threat." Kai said, a look of determination on his face, even as he cloaked the group once more.

Kali walked down the hall, lost in thought.
Kai took off, Dawn and Sakeo went with him, Shiro's off doing his own thing as normal, Kazuki's forcing me off missions, Sonia's still captured, and everyone else is just doing nothing. I'm about to do the same thing out of necessity, too. Kali thought, as she sighed, and headed toward the entrance, to see if there was anything she could do in the city, to keep her mind off things.

Kai frowned, as he noticed the Chaos Guardian of Gravity step out from the shadows.
"Really? Didn't we kill this guy already?" Kai muttered, as the Chaos Guardian stepped up to the mic, and smirked.
"Welcome all. I, as you know, am the Chaos Guardian who wields the element of Gravity; Harkan. You know why we're all here... You know our plan." The Chaos Guardian stated, as the crowd cheered.
"Tonight; the Chaos Hunters win... TONIGHT! WE TAKE TERAKOU, AND RID THE WORLD OF THE CHOSEN ONES!!" Harkan yelled into the mic, as the Chaos Hunters gathered burst into cheering and applause, which caused Kai to frown.
"Good... They must not know we're here yet." Kai mumbled under his breath, as he felt the airship begin to move, and heard a loud clunk.
"As we speak, we are headed toward Terakou, to end this war once and for all, and preserve peace forever..." Harkan said with a smirk, as he was obviously pleased about something.

InAki quietly begins charging a massive charge of Ki...

Kali sighed, as she walked out the back entrance to the base, and then froze, as she paled visibly.
No no no no no... Kali thought, as she saw a mass of black headed across the desert; the airship was the least of their problems, as a large Chaos Hunter army was down below, rapidly advancing on the city. Kali shook her head, and ran back inside, as she quickly headed toward Kazuki's office.

Kai frowned, as he crouched down, and tried to hear what they were saying, over the cheers. However, a good portion of what Harkan was saying was blocked by the cheers.
"And that! Is how we will win!" Was the only think Kai could hear, before the Chaos Guardian nodded to the Hunters, and quickly walked offstage, even as another Chaos Hunter elite stepped up to the mic, just to give more of a rallying speech.

"i'll be right back" Marik muttered, and teleported away.

"Wha?" Kai said, as Marik teleported away.
"Marik! Get back here!" Kai hissed, even though it was useless, even as Kai slapped his palm to his face for the second time that day, even as he attempted to search out for the Ki signature that Marik had.

As another Hunter went onstage, an alarm went off. The hunter checked a panel on the wall and the entire ship lurched. There was a sound of an explosion. Everything tilted forwards, and there were screams of "abandon ship!"



on the surface, Kali's eyes went wide, as she saw this in front of her.

"What the- What did you do!?" Kai yelled out, even though it was useless. Kai grabbed everyone present, and teleported everyone to the ground... Or, at least, seemingly to the ground. In fact, they were standing on what was a piece of ground hovering in the middle of the sky. If Marik teleported back to the others, he would notice one lone 'Hunter' standing nearby, an odd device on his arm.
"Heh. I knew you'd fall for that." The Chaos Guardian stated with a smirk.
"Harkan." Kai growled, and the Guardian chuckled.
"You know my name. I'm impressed. Now behold!" The Chaos Guardian called out, as a barrier surrounded the group, at least for the moment, even as the zeppelin flew through the air, and barely missed Terakou, as it crashed into a section of land that was part desert, and part plains. Kai prepared himself for the fight, as Harkan hovered into the air with a smug grin.

Marik saw the chunk of ground from the burning remains of the zeppelin, and used his heat-column trick to appear behind the Guardian. he pulled out his katana and was ready to stab through him when the guardian turned around.

OOC: Need to get InAki out.

InAki lanched himself at Harkan, kiking at his face at the same time he flattened the Chaos Guardian with gravity and wrapped a Ki Whip around his neck.  InAki began to swing downward off the edge of the platform, but the moment the Ki Whip touched Harkan, a voice erupted in InAki's mind.

NO.  It's not for you.  Get in here, there's something important we need to do that I think we'll both agree on.  InAki's eyes flashed momentarily, and Aki resumed control.  A moment later, Aki vanished completely.
