InAki felt a strange sensation, like something was seriously wrong, but decided not to mention it.  He did, however, ready his elemental powers for immediate action, just in case, before following the group headed for the Chaos Guardian.

[Rakoua]

IC (Real Rakoua):
"Interesting. You are here, yet you are also not here." A chaos hunter that entered said and pressed a button on a small device, causing extreme pain in my neck.
"Now, tell me the location of your base and your plan of attack. It is simple, if you do not, you will die. If you do, you will not die."

"that looks like barracks to me" Marik said, indicating a building.

OOC: don't forget, Marik was in the CHs for a while

IC (Alt Rakoua):
"Can I incinerate it?"

-==IC: Kai==-

"No; let's just get into the main part of the city, and not bring attention t ourselves. Save incinerating for if we get into a fight." Kai said, as he continued to walk down the tunnel, but then paused, as Kali frowned. Kai held out his arm, as he heard many footsteps coming from further in the tunnel.
"The voices were coming from this direction!" Someone yelled out, and Kai growled.
"Everyone; get back, now; take the tunnel system to the left directly after reaching the intersection we just passed, that should lead further in." Kai said, a calm but determined look on his face, as Kali frowned.
"Kai?" Kali asked, and Kai snapped his fingers, disrupting the light in the tunnel. Kali yelled out quickly, as he stumbled back from a part of the roof caving in, but quickly caught herself, as she frowned.
"Not again..." Kali said, as she stumbled toward the nearby wall, and leaned against it with a sigh.

Meanwhile, Kai frowned, as the Chaos Hunters caught up.
"Who are you?!" The Chaos Hunters asked, and Kai panted.
"Kaito Landon... I was investigating some noise in the sewers, and, well, then I heard you guys, and the tunnel just collapsed!" Kai said, and the Hunters looked at each other, but sighed.
"Take him to the base, but keep an eye on him. Even if he's not involved, he might be able to work well for the Hunters..." One said, but the other paused.
"Were your parents Hunters?" He asked, and Kai nodded.
"Then he's a potential candidate for certain. Get him to the training camp, ASAP."

OOC: am I supposed of let them take him? =P

OOC: This time, yes; give that he just collapsed the ceiling to save the others. Good idea, too, considering there were about 10 Hunters there. =P

OOC: 10 against, what, 5? well that's not fair... it would need to be at least 20 hunters to be any sort of fun at all, and at least 40 to start to be a challenge.

IC: matt gestured everyone to stay quiet, and led them back out the tunnel. He motioned to go around the area, back to where they were heading.

OOC: That was just the first wave. There's about 50 on standby waiting at the entrance to that particular exit. =P

On the way back, however, they noticed the intersection, and the path that Kai had mentioned, which appeared to lead further in. It might just have been an alternative way in.

Marik lead the group that way.

Aki began to stretch his Ki senses outward from within InAki; thanks to his use of Ki Blank, the latter didn't even notice.  All right, he thought within his telepathically-shielded mind, where's my contact...?

OOC: Blade, you remember.  Sleeper/Double agent, and all that fun stuff.   Though Aki is on the Ki Striker side, he just only cares about one KS in particular.

"To be honest; so do I. Hence why I'm staying back." Sakeo said, as he laughed.
"... Not really, no. Just kept it up like this." Sakeo thought with a chuckle.

"So.... who is this mystery guy you're looking for?" Skye asked curiously.

 "So around how many Chaos Hunters are we expecting inside?" M'raize asked, following behind Marik quietly.

OOC: So I'm going to say that Noah is with the group, and that he's going to get chased by a lot of Hunters. =P

"Oh, a ton" Marik said with a wolfish grin. "Everybody ready to go in?" He said, drawing a katana and setting it ablaze with blackfire

 M'raize smile was eerily similar to Marik's. "Always ready." He pulled out the larger of his two swords.

"Armor on everyone!" said Marik. He activated his own and dropped down.

[Rakoua]

IC (Alt Rakoua):
I reactivated my armor (which was different from the original, but I masked that with Ki) and took out a huge greatsword that seemed to be glowing with Ki.

OOC: Noah should be with the Caravan group for maximum hilarity and chasing... They're headed to Terakou, after all. =P

-==IC: Sakeo==-

"Honestly, I don't know. I've gotten a lead that someone's back at that mall, though... I want to check it out. I've heard something about a lead on why I have these psychic powers, and I want to find out." Sakeo said with a slight frown.

-==IC: Kali==-

Kali winced, but nodded, as she activated her own armour, and the group made their way to the end of the tunnel. Interestingly enough, they didn't run into any Chaos Hunters that time.

OOC: Your plan can happen about now, though, MTM. =P Got a little ways left in the chapter still, but...

-==IC: Kazuki==-

Kazuki frowned, as he walked over to the caravan's main control room and started it up, after everyone who was planning on being elsewhere was off.
"Let's go, it's time to take back our city." Kazuki said to whoever was still there, which included Dawn, who nodded.

Matt melted down the barracks doors, and stepped inside. he held up a finger in the universal "quiet!" gesture, and made their way deeper into the building.

OOC: We aren't to the barracks just yet, though... We're on the inner portion of the city. I should've described it a little better, I admit, but it's split into two halves; we passed the first barricade with flying, and we passed the second via the tunnels. It'll take a while to get there, though. =P
