OOC:  everyone doing part of an RPG is taking my wonderfully thought out and well done posts and retconning in extra details to make my characters sound like idiots >_<

OOC: I mentioned that this wasn't Terakou and that there were two parts to the city beforehand... And I do apologize for all that in here, when it does happen. =/

I pretty much just wanted a certain 'something' to happen shortly after we exited the tunnels, into the second half of the city. =/

"I've heard of a forest somewhere nearby, that might hold the answers. I want to check there first." Sakeo said with a nod.

Kali looked around at the true interior of the city, after they exited the tunnel, and noticed an alleyway, which she quickly motioned to, as many Chaos Hunters were patrolling the streets, even with it being night.
"Never expected this many Hunters..."

IC: "Eh, I've fought worse" Marik said with an evil-looking smile.

Kali frowned, but nodded, as she looked around, trying to find a good way to move forward.

OO: a CH fight first, then that one's introduction. =P

"Ok." Skye said with a smile. "Ready whenever you are."

Sakeo nodded, and grabbed Skye's hand, and then teleported them to the forest to the east of Terakou.
"Now then, I'm not quite sure where this guy's supposed to be, just that he's been sighted around here..." Sakeo said with a frown, as he looked around.

-==IC: Kali==-

"Remember, we can't be seen, otherwise we won't be able to pull this mission off correctly." Kali said, and started to walk out of the alley... Just as a Chaos Hunter noticed them. The Hunter motioned to his buddy, and Kali muttered, and stepped back into the alley.
"Okay, plan two, we defeat the ones that come after us now."

Skye had forgotten just how it felt to have Sakeo hold her hand.... She quickly hid the grin forming on her face, and concentrated on her surroundings. "Do you know what he looks like?"

InAki makes to drop a black hole at the Chaos Hunters' feet, but remembers that his elemental powers no longer work quite the same as they did.  "It's all, you folks," he says.

Marik held out his katana and a spout of blackfire jumped off his sword and dove down the CH's throat. He let out a muffled scream and fell over, as Marik stabbed through the other (pretty distracted) hunter with his sword.

 M'raize leaned over the charred Chaos Hunter. "Mind if I take the next ones?"

"Be my guest" he chuckled. "In fact, here come more!" A group of maybe 8 hunters ran in, armed to the teeth.

 M'raize smiled as he calmly burst himself into flame. More of an intimidation factor than anything, but it was still fun to do. He took out the first hunter almost instantly with a lightning quick slice across the chest, and another took a hilt to the head. He reached out with his hand and a third one burst into flame.

OOC: Don't let me have ALL the fun. =P

"Not really." Sakeo admitted, and sighed.
"He's said to be rather tall, with a beard and brown hair; though there isn't really much of a description of him other than that, and the fact that he doesn't typically talk much." Sakeo said, as he continued to walk through the forest, looking around, but paused, as he looked further in the way they were headed.
"Don't think we should head that way; there's a swamp there, and is said to not be good for travel. We should probably avoid that area." Sakeo explained, as he continued to look around.

OOC: This side-plot will actually begin to set up some things for the future. I have about as much planned for Fragments of Time as I did for DoaH before I started the RPG, but I have to admit that the base idea is very cool. =P

Kali frowned, as she drew her sword with a slight wince, tapping a device on her arm that was similar to the one Kai had been using, as her armour activated.
"So much for not drawing attention to ourselves." Kali sighed, but nodded, as she got into a ready position, not wanting to overexert herself, however.

-==IC: Kai==-

Kai frowned, as he wondered how he had managed to get himself into this situation. He had managed to hide his identity, thanks to some quick thinking by Kazuki before the mission began, however, he was now being trained as if he were an actual Chaos Hunter, in their training camp... And, well, it wasn't exactly the easiest thing for someone merely pretending to be a potential Chaos Hunter.
"Give me 50 more pushups, Landon." One of the captains in charge of the camp stated, as Kai nodded, and thought for a moment.
I've noticed something about this place... They don't seem to always make their own commands; either they're repeated many times, or they talk with someone first... But, what could that mean? Kai thought, as suddenly three beeps appeared over the intercom, which Kai hadn't noticed before then, as a garbled, low pitched female voice started talking.
"A group of people suspected to be Chosen Ones have been said to be in the city. We must lock down the city, and try not to let these criminals interfere with justice. Therefore, training will be sped up, and the entry tests into the Chaos Hunters, including the main physical test, will take place in three hours." The voice stated, and Kai frowned, as a girl with long black hair, who looked to be around his age, walked up to him when the guards were talking with themselves about this update, and nodded to him.
"Good luck to you on that test... I admittedly wonder if we really are doing the right thing... But it has to be the right thing, right?" The girl asked with a smile, and Kai paused for a moment, but nodded.
"Yeah, I guess so." He said, not sure how else to respond, and the girl nodded.
"I'm Brooke." She said, as she held her hand out toward Kai, who accepted it with a nod.
"The name's Kaito." Kai replied, catching a glimpse of something that caused him to do a double take out of the corner of his eye, something that Brooke noticed, and she looked at Kai curiously.
"You okay?" Brooke asked, and Kai frowned, but nodded.
"Thought I saw something impossible... But I was wrong, just a trick of my eyes." Kai said with a smile, and Brooke nodded in response. The guards looked over with a look of slight annoyance.
"You lot, stop talking. If you want to do something, go practice, you only have a few hours left, after all." The guard said, and Brooke chuckled, and looked back to Kai.
"Right; wanna have a practice fight? They are right about that, after all." Brooke said, and Kai shrugged.
"Why not? Sure." Kai said, and Brooke smiled, and led the way to the training arena in the camp, where a group of potential Hunters were watching a practice duel.
... She seems like she doesn't totally believe the Hunters' lies... But, she's bordering more on believing them... I wonder if I can convince her...? Kai wondered, even as they walked toward the circular area.

OOC: A slight piece of interesting info: In the main story, Kai's role would be filled by Kaze. But, well, Kaze's dead and all, so that obviously has to be passed to the next strongest. =P

Matt threw one of his swords through another hunter, and he held put his hand, the sword flying back to his hand. Suddenly, a blast of power shook him, he knew he would have been incenerated if not for his elemental heat-proof-ing-ness. A girls voice called out " you losers ready to die?"

OOC: boss fight time =D

InAki groans.  "Next time someone mentions either of you two and the word 'subtlety' in the same sentence, remind me to shoot them.  Repeatedly."  All pretense at subterfuge ended, InAki levitated above the others, summoning a vortex of his four elements to surround him.

"Stay Back" both InAki and Aki said together to the newcomer, their voices harmonizing strangely as a shift in control took place.  "If you choose to fight me, it will be you who dies," Aki finishes.

A blast of power from the girl hit inaki's field, vaporizing the water and sand and sending him flying back. "That was a warning shot! Submit or die!"
