"So then..." Novia thought for a moment. She pulled out her crossbow, and loaded it with a bolt. As soon as the smoke cleared for a moment's time and she could spot one of the blasts ahead of her, she aimed and fired. Following the bolt was a beam of Ki that Novia kept constant with her hand on the bow.
The bolt and blast collided, causing a mid-air explosion, while the remainder of the beam zoomed past that on the blast's trail.
