-Two months later, May 8th, 2011-
Kai looked around the field that was just to the north of the Terakou 'school', now almost fully repurposed into the Chosen One headquarters.
"Why did he go and be so reckless?" Kai muttered, as he stared at the grave of Kaze Hikari, and then shook his head, and moved to walk away, however, he paused, when he noticed a seemingly emotionless Kali standing nearby.
"You've come here to try and make sense of this, haven't you?" Kai asked, and Kali simply nodded.
"I'll leave you to do that, then." Kai stated, and Kali looked at him with an odd look.
"What do you mean? Why?" Kali asked, and Kai frowned.
"I have to help coordinate the fight: we still have five Chaos Code fragments to find, Sonia's still missing, and Kaze is dead; meaning we can't gather the code fragments with his Data Drain skill." Kai pointed out, and Kali nodded, and looked back to the grave, and sighed.
"Alright; I'll go with you, then." Kali said, silently following the Chosen One of Light back to the base.
