Rama Swarm by Rakoua
«Kongu! » yelled Taipu, returning Kongu to reality.
«What? Who? When? » Kongu said. He found himself in Onepu's hut, on a pile of hay. Onepu stood next to him, giving him some water. Kongu started to move, however Taipu stopped him.
«No, Kongu. Stay here, that was quite a fall. I suspect you fell from your Gukko while defending your village. Or so do reports say...» Onepu stopped. He threw a stone tablet to Kongu.
Nui-Rama attacked Le-Koro. Result of battle: Lost.
«NO! » Kongu yelled. «It is all my fault!»
«You must have hit your head quite hard. » Said Whenua, who just walked in.
«You don't understand! » Kongu continued to yell.
«Stop, Kongu! You are waking up the whole village! » Onepu said.
«Waking... Up? » Kongu said, confused. «How long was I unconscious? »
«Seven days now. » Onepu said. Kongu got up to his feet, and ran away.
«Send a message to the guards not to let Kongu out. I don't want another shock to his already hurt mind. » Whenua said coldly.
«Yes, Turaga. » Onepu said, and ran out off his hut. He then sent a messenger to ride a crab and get to the end off the road before Kongu.
But he was too late. By the time he was there, Kongu was already crying over the remains off the elevator that was being taken into Onu Koro, along with many other damaged items. Every now and then a body off a dead Le-Matoran passed by him, seemingly throwing yet another knife into his hearth.
«No... How could this happen? HOW? Why...» Kongu yelled. The rider finally came, and saw he was too late.
«I know... It was horrible. It was five full days of fighting, and two more to save what was left off Le Koro. It was the Ta Matoran's fault, since they failed to ambush the attack... They didn't have a chance. I heard tales off your heroism from the few survivors... They say you saved them. » The messenger said. «Take this Ussal, may it serve you better then it did to its past owner... The Rahi attacked every village... They say that Onu Koro was the only one which survived. »
Kongu, instead off going to Le Koro, turned back... And turned right to Ta Koro on the crossing off the highways.
The village of fire was in no better shape then what he imagined Le Koro to be. Onu Matoran were taking its remains to Onu Koro, while the Ta Matoran that survived went to Tren Krom to try and send a message to the North March. Ever since the attack nothing was heard off the Ko Matoran.
Suddenly, the Ta Matoran returned. There were about 70 survivors in the village of fire, and 120 more in the village off ice. It seems that the Ko Matoran were attacked the last, and with only a small force off Nui Rama, supported by a few other Rahi.
«Ga Koro? » Vakama exited his hut. One off the Ta Matoran spoke.
«From what we saw, they are still under attack. »
«Evacuate Ta Koro. Send a messenger to Po Koro to do so too. Take Le Koro is already in Onu Koro, I hear. Ko Koro is with out. We will assemble there and save Ga Koro. Take as many supplies as you can! But leave those that you don't need... We are going to war! » Vakama said, determined to finish the war.
An hour later, all off the surviving Matoran were at Onu Koro, except for the Ga Matoran. 90 Po Matoran, 150 Onu Matoran, 35 Le Matoran, 50 Ta Matoran and 120 Ko Matoran survived the strike off the Rahi. Vakama stood on in Whenua's hut, discussing tactics with he other four Turaga. The eyes off the Matoran revealed no fear, even though they knew that it will be a hard battle. Only... Kongu disappeared during the evacuation, along with his copilot, somewhere around the Lightstone mine.
The Matoran marched out off the cave, trough narrow tunnels. It took half an hour to pass trough the tunnel and assemble to hear the plan.
Vakama jumped on a rock and started to speak.
«Ga Koro will be a hard fight. We will need every advantage we have! Therefore, we will climb the trees, and use the element off surprise to defeat them! »
The Matoran then marched to Ga Koro... When they came, the battle was still raging, as the tired Ga Matoran kept stabbing the attacking Nui Rama with their fishing staffs. Suddenly, out off nowhere, a Gukko flied into the swarm, shooting down a few Nui Rama.
«Kongu! » Yelled Matau, as Vakama signaled all off the Matoran to attack. Disks flew, claws slashed and Matoran fled as the battle raged on for half an hour, until all off the Nui Rama were fish food.
Vakama took the chance to speak.
«Matoran! We have lost many friends, many homes, and many hopes in the past week! However, we have survived to live, and fight, another day! »
Vakama then walked to Kongu.
«You... You... Today you have saved many lives... Survived many tragedies... Go back to your village, help rebuild... And never lose hope, as it is the only thing that can keep us alive in these dark times. »
The end
