Interlude Eleven
Exaltoskull's Story
Blinding light flooded through Exaltoskull's eyes, and as the deamon warrior cried out, the light dissapeared, only to be raplaced by darkness. It had been a week since Exaltoskull's soul had been removed, and the deamon warrior was becoming restless. His soul, the only part of himself he could control, was trapped in the Chamber of Soul belonging to Tyranac, and the two souls had come to a stalemate fight in the chamber. Each soul had its own instict to battle off another soul that resided in a Chamber of Soul, and it was all Tyranac could do to influence his own soul not to kill Exaltoskull.
Exaltoskull's soul, a formless mass of dark matter, absorbed a stab from the sword held by Tyranac's soul, and as the sword plunged through Exaltoskull, so did Tyranac's soul. This process had gone on like this for a week. Tyranac's sword should have been able to cut through Exaltoskull, but the willpower from the mind of Tyranac allowed Exaltoskull to survive. But there had been times when the sword had hit Exaltoskull. The pain had been excrutiating, and was always followed by a blinding light, then darkness.
Blinding light flooded through Exaltoskull's eyes, and as the deamon warrior cried out, the light dissapeared, only to be replaced by a darkness darker than any before. Exaltoskull cried out in shock, but his voice was muffled, and his vision slowly faded out of focus, causing Exaltoskull's soul to be wrapped in a darkness that was even darker than the darkness in which he floated. This darker than darkness was Death. It was also a Deamon Shadow, a Reaper of Death. Exaltoskull cried out in pain, this time his cries exploding from out of Tyranac's body. Exaltoskull's soul was launched out of the ancient deamon's body, causing the formless dak matter covered by the Deamon Shadow to emerge in plain daylight.
Hands emerged from the formless mass of matter, tearing at the Deamon Shadow in an attempt to remove it. But Exaltoskull's effort were useless. In only minutes the Shadow had taken over, the Exaltoskull's soul was reduced to a ball of darkness, with rings of gold spinning around it. Red eyes appeared on the soul, and a large hole in the back of the ball was opened. A light brighter than any other that had ever existed or would ever exist came out from the hole, and the Deamon Shadow let out a noise that could be interpretted as a cry of pain. Then, when the light was gone, the ball that was Exaltoskull's soul closed, the red eyes remaining. The Deamon Shadow spread itself apart, covering the ball, then wrapping itself around the ball, muffling all noise. Once wrapped around, the Deamon Shadow dissolved into Exaltoskull's soul, creating a human form, than that of the body of Exaltoskull. The Deamon Shadow ended by creating a mix of the two forms, and once the shape had been created, darkness covered the universe, only to dissapear once again, revealing the true form of Exaltoskull, Deamon Shadow...
