Location: Interrogation Room A113
Subject: High-speed chase, Colorado, unknown highly-armored motorcade containing heavily armed attack team.
Interviewee: One fair-skinned male, British accent, nondescript appearance.  Refuses to give name when questioned.

"That should be one extremely ******-off fair-skinned male, British--"
"He talks."
"Of course 'he talks,' I'm not a mute."
"Care to tell me how--"
"Dark iris, reflection, I have good eyesight.  Anymore pointless questions, or have you authenticated my identification?"
"You still refuse to tell us--"
"Dark jacket, expensive, breast pocket, behind mini-taser.  Same thing I told you when you brought me in.  Did you authenticate it yet or not?"
"Sir, I'm not at liberty to discuss--"
"Fine then.  I'm not at liberty to speak to you until that's done."
"*sigh* Would my own credentials work?"
"Probably not high enough clearance."
"I see."  The silence loomed, when there was a tap on the window.  An agent leaned in with a file for the interviewer.  "Thank you, Shaun.  So...Mr. Zagrene--excuse me, 'Lord Regulus' is it?  You'll have to forgive me, I'm unfamiliar with the protocol for addressing British nobility."
"Obviously."
"So, Lord Regulus, care to tell us why you were driving a heavily-armed tactical strike force on American soil, into the middle of an active CIA pursuit of a known terrorist?"
"I assume those are my credentials?"
"Well...yes, but--"
"And whatever pitifully inadequate files your CIA has attempted to gather on me?"
"Mr. Regulus, surely you understand that I can't divulge the exact nature of classif--"
"It's Lord Regulus, and as an intelligence agent with the files right in front of you, surely you understand that I cannot divulge the exact nature of the Queen's secrets to anyone, for any reason at all."
"I see."  The room dropped back into uncomfortable silence for a moment.
Regulus sighed.  "In the interests in expediting the prompt immediate release of myself, my men, and our files and equipment, and as a show of good faith, I will reveal that my team is not involved with the renegade.  We had dealings of a sensitive nature and happened to get in his way."
"All right, I'll take that into consideration.  Anything else you can tell us about Kaze Hikari?"
Regulus started to shake his head, but then stopped.  These people may be useless, but considering current events at MI5 it would be prudent to consider potential allies, just in case.  One could never be too careful.  "A hunch, a completely random one.  I've been tracking a series of deaths, both at home and abroad, that have piqued my suspicions as to being interrelated.  All of them have been scientists, exceptionally brilliant individuals, ones I myself had been tracking before their deaths, for reasons you are neither cleared to know nor capable of understanding.  As I understand it, this terrorist posesses notably more than the necessary skills to plan and accomplish these murders."
The interrogator rose.  "Thank you, Lord Regulus, we'll look into that.  Any names in particular we should look in to?"
"No, but stay away from Chris Johnson and CERN.  My people are already on it.  If we require your assistance, we'll contact you."
"...We'll consider your request, Lord Regulus."  As the investigator opened the door to leave, an agent outside gestured subtly to him.  "Ah--It appears you are free to go."

Regulus pushed past the investigator, reclaiming his jacket and briefcase from Jarvis, who was waiting dutifully next to the agent.  As he slipped his jacket on, he reached into an inner pocket and pulled out a tiny electronic bug.  He surreptitiously dropped it onto the investigator's digital tablet.  Half an hour later, while Jarvis sat in the other vehicle, calling Infinitus and the Regulus offices to inform them of the cancelled meeting, Regulus had opened his own laptop and hacked in to the CIA database.  He pulled the records on Kaze Hikari, and all associated aliases, then disguised and buried the info within the CIA database, to be restored when needed at a few simple keystrokes.  If this man wasn't a terrorist, then he'd make a bloody fine asset, and if he WAS the killer...then Regulus would deal with the man himself.  "Kaze Hikari..." he murmured...

IC: Tyler and Daniel arrived at a hotel just outside of disneyland, late at night. "we have passes, its an alibi." he explained, and then went to check in. he came out a moment later and showed Daniel their room. A medium sized room, two beds, a bathroom, a TV, and a small kitchenette. "early day tomorrow. Can you be up at 5?"

As Regulus looked over the CIA data on Hikari, he overheard Jarvis and the squad leader chatting over the radio.
"So, Jarv, where to now?"
"I'm not sure, General, we have to get our affairs in order.  We've just gotten out of CIA custody after all, it'll take time to get rid of all the bugs they undoubtedly planted, and see how much of our stuff they've tampered with.  Where would you recommend."
"..."
"...General?"
"...Strap in, boys, we're going to Disneyland!"  The men of the strike team cheered, while Regulus just rolled his eyes.  California.  A bit out of his way, but then again, as he had no business there, his enemies would have no reason to target him there.  It would be a good place to plan and reassess.   "Very well, General.  Jarvis, I presume the private jet is fueled and waiting for us here?"
"It is."
"Excellent.  Prepare for immediate departure.  We should be in California in just a couple of hours."

==Six hours later...==

It was just after one in the morning, local time, and for once the city of Anaheim was restfully quiet.  No chance of that tomorrow, he thought irritably.  General Carter had wanted to stay in one of the actual Disney hotels, but both he and Jarvis had decided to book rooms at a Best Western instead so as to attract less attention.  Upon seeing the size of the suite, Regulus began to have second thoughts.  Perhaps General Carter's idea would have been better after all.  He would make do.  "I need to go get some fresh air, be right back."  Walking down to the lobby, he decided to play the part of a tired businessman, and picked up a cup of complimentary coffee in the stereotypical styrofoam cup and the day's newspaper.  He already knew all the news from his own digital feeds, but the paper allowed him to appear to read while actually watching the people around him.  I don't get to people-watch much these days, I'm sure my infiltration skills have suffered for it.  I'm fortunate this host enjoyed theatre before I joined him.  He scanned the lobby, his host's artists' eye picking up those who appeared to be out of the ordinary...
