"First of all.." Virunk cut in, and frowned.
"I need upgrades... But not implants. They have EMP-based weaponry, and it killed the mechanical arm." Virunk said, motioning to his currently hanging limp arm, because he was tired of attempting to move it, which failed anyway.
"I definitely need a helmet of some kind; they kept trying to shoot me. Armour would be nice too." Virunk said, as he began to list off the potential ideas he had been thinking up, equipment wise.

OOC: Obviously a cyborg will be useless there, hence no implants.

So... Instead...

Helmet with transparent visor, with optional HUD displayed onto it by two cameras on either side of the inside of the helmet.
Suit of armour that can take multiple attacks preferably.
Energy blasters of some kind preferably built into the palms of the hand, though the precise manner is optional.
Long Fall Boots of sorts.

Think that'd work? =P

I accidentally dropped the tablet I was reading, and it just happened to be a very expensive gadget owned my Matt, which shattered into a million pieces.

[Rakoua]

IC (person):
"Not at all, a lot of my friends are androids. In fact, I might have a proposal for you... But first you have to gain my trust. Where is Matt?"

IC (Rakoua):
"I... uhh... dropped it into a vat of acid to see how resistant it was, and I guess it made it fragile?"

IC Kira: "Android means one of two things. Either its a brand name, which for us is equatable to species, or its a term meant to describe a robot based on a male human. So in all essentially, you called me a dyke gorilla. So, um, try again."

OOC: Kira's more fun than I expected xD

IC Matt: *twitch* "why would you need to test its acid resistance?" *twitch*

IC (Person):
"I hate it when they do that... alright, gynoid... tell me where Matt is and I will let you go. Or, if you wish, you can join me. Don't be so quick to refuse though... You might come to me begging for my forgiveness when this is over."

OOC: I had a feeling that you would use that card =P

IC (Rakoua):
"Well, uhh... What if we run into acid-throwing robots and our only shield is your tablet?"

IC Kira: "Why would anyone join you when they have no idea who you are or what you want? You humans are terrible at communication"

IC Matt: Matt did an epic facepalm, then started work on some armor for Virnuk, explaining "Not enough time for the implats I want to give you anyways. Though any high-end implants are EMP-shielded..."

[Rakoua]

IC (Person):
"You know, you talk a lot for someone who could get killed at any minute. What I plan to do is irrelevant, for now. Just tell me Matt's location."

IC (Rakoua):
I proceeded to play freecell on Matt's 300" screen.

IC Kira: "Last time I saw him, he was escaping a police officer who wanted to arrest him for something he didn't do."

IC Matt: Matt furrowed his brow and continued his work, trying very hard to ignore Rakoua, who really seemed like he had sold all his IQ points to fuel his cheese addiction.

OOC: and yes, selling your IQ points is possible, with certain implants. Its illegal of course - this era's equivalent of the black market organ trade.

[Rakoua]

IC (Person):
"Any more specific? Where is this new body he's building for you?"
IC (Rakoua):
I proceeded to finish 7 games of freecell in 3.1 seconds.
"Hey, man, why are you still using windows [insert number]?"

OOC: Interesting =P

IC Matt: "because its the best platform for quantum compiling. Tho I do agree, the interface sucks" he said, not looking up from the armor he was working on.

IC Kira "No idea. I was going to transfer out when you jammed the communications."

[Rakoua]

IC (Rakoua):
"What about lower level functions? It's a bit slow on the [insert paragraph of technobabble which I cannot be bothered to write]"
IC (Person):
"I think you're lying. I'll dismantle you if I have to, just to get to that information."

Virunk sighed.
"Less babble, more working." Virunk said, helping with handing parts to Matt, just to help speed up the process.
"We need to get this done as soon as we can."

IC (Rakoua):
While they were working, I made some schematics for an exoskeleton.
"Hey, take a look at this."

"I was just working on this before I came here. It can increase strength by 300%."

IC (Rakoua):

IC (Person):
"I think you're lying. I'll dismantle you if I have to, just to get to that information."

IC Kira: "What makes you think I'm lying?"

IC Matt: "Yeah, but you don't use use that for quantum compiling anyways. and those operations are what i have that server for" Matt said, gesturing to a computer that looked approximately the size, weight, and material of a cinderblock. He glanced at the plans Rakoua was holding. "No Synthetic muscles. those can get it to 450% without any modification" Matt said, as he continued work on the armor.

[Rakoua]

IC (Rakoua):
"Yeah, but take a look at this."
I created a holographic simulation of the exoskeleton, and hundreds of little laser arrays extended from various points in the exoskeleton. I then created a dozen holoenemies. They were all destroyed within seconds in the simulation.
This immediately caught Virnuk's attention.

IC (Person):
"Alright, let's see if I can cut out your brain and download the information..." I said and took a lasersaw.
