Joe bit her lip, as she tried to hurry up with the cutting, wincing as her arm started to twinge with pain a little from the sheer amount of movement it was doing in such a short time. She tried to pull Crystal free with her other hand, but had a bad feeling about how this would go.

The hand that took hers was not Haleys. It was ice cold, with long nails that dug into Joes flesh. Haley and Crystal were gone. There was only blackness, and the thing grasping tightly to Joe's hand.
