OOC: Tal Shiar would just slaughter them and Battlegroup Omega would know better than to try and open pods which might be infected.
IC (Rakoua):

This message was transmitted over a secure frequency and 2 seconds later the infected ship and all of its pods exploded. We then opened a channel towards the Sith.
"Now that you see what we are capable of... Lets see how you'd like a couple of quantum torpedoes."
The USS Berlin started firing at the largest ship in the enemy fleet, destroying various shield generators and weapon turrets while getting cover fire from two Romulan warbirds and several Prometheus-class starships.
