"Everyone matters." Nick said, a frown on his face.
"If only we had a way to light up the room to see what we're dealing with here..."

"Dude. LUCID DREAM. Conjure up a torch!"

"Oh, right, torch, should've tried that before flashlight." Nick said with a sigh, as he did so.

The snakes slithered away from the sudden light.

"Oh, that works too." Nick said, as he shrugged and moved forward while a path was clearing.

The floor here was covered with snakes as well.
In a golden and emerald throne in the centre of the room, sat...a teenager. She wore a green and gold tunic over a white and gold dress. Her hair and eyes were emerald green, her skin was an odd shade of gold, and she wore a golden serpent around her head. Thousands of snakes crawled all over her body, occasionally poking their heads out of gaps in her clothing to glare at the visitors.

OOC: Yig is not angry, so she's in human guise. Try not to annoy her, unless you want a boss battle.

Nick seemed surprised at Yig's appearance, but nodded.
"Hello there." Nick said kinda awkwardly, as the last time he had talked to a god of sorts, he had been rather unsure still. Now he just plain didn't want to mess up, as it wasn't just his life at stake.

OOC: The Supreme Terror has not yet attached itself to your dream. Right now it's floating through Alpha Centauri.

IC: "Welcome..." she hissed. She smiled, showing a mouth filled with sharp fangs and a forked tongue.

OOC: So, what was the point of us heading here again? =P

Nick nodded, not quite sure what to say next, so that he didn't utterly mess things up.
"Nice to be here."

[The Truth]

OOC: You volunteered to save the children. Plus, Yig isn't a nightmare. Never said she wasn't letting them have free-roam of her territory.

IC: Yig stood, sending a number of snakes sliding off herself. "Please...approach my throne." She hissed with every word.

OOC: We were headed here anyway, though. =P

Nick nodded, and did so.

OOC: Control the border, and the nightmares can't get in. That was the basic reasoning.
IC: "Tell me...." her tongue darted rapidly in and out, tasting the air. "Why do you see Yig?"

OOC: True. =P I just realized, though, I messed up something when I was talking, I was trying to say 'Enigma should be 2013, so the references work'. =P

"I wish to help the border be controlled, and I was requested to do something else."

OOC: I'm trying to figure out how to phrase this. =P

"The border doesn't concern me. What is this other request? I dislike it when people dance around the issue."

"I was informed of children being here?" Nick asked, not wanting to anger the god. At least at the moment.

OOC: She doesn't care. She has a very small territory.

IC: "There were. One of them killed one of my babies, so I punished them."

"Punished them?" Nick repeated with a slight frown, having a bad feeling about that.

She smirked wider, and pointed to a large canister behind her. She reached in, pulled out a human kidney, and tossed it into a pile of snakes. It was gone in an instant.
