Annabeth seemed surprised, but smiled slightly, and nodded. That said, she didn't quite agree that she was being impulsive or rash, since she had not disturbed the evidence at all, and had gotten clearance to be back here.

The accused, Sunny Bright, was in charge of special effects for the daily show here at Gatewater Land. The victim was a man named Cus Toome, who played the Bad Badger in the show. Cus was found dead on the stage, still in costume, though without the mask. He was suffocated. Time of death was early in the morning, at the time when the accused was supposed to be setting up effects on stage. He claims he was late that day because he couldn't find the keys to the supply closet. He has a record of fighting with Cut Toome, once even breaking the late mister Toome's nose in a fight. Nobody else was slated to be on duty that day, and the security guard testified that she only saw Sunny Bright there."

I'm sorry for all the questions, I just feel, well, it's best to at least find out the answers, right?" She seemed a little awkward, but hoped she wasn't offending Izabel, or making her annoyed.

"If we had security footage, the criminal would already be behind bars and I would be at home sipping tea with my fiance."
