OOC:My group is somewhere far away, I don't know where, so don't try to find me.
IC (Enola):
The past event were confusing, I didn't know what happened... Still, we were on some kind of rickety barge of an Intrepid class ship, along with a half witted crew... Interesting.
Still, we were somewhere in the space between galaxies, after passing trough some kind of graviton catapult.
Still, we weren't the only ones there...
IC (View from space):
Floating just in front of the Intrepid class ship was a large piece of metal that seemed to have been fired at... Suddenly, a beam of energy from it smashed into the Intrepid ship, and the lights on it went out.
OOC: I'll give ten thousand tons of galecit to the one who knows either of these:
-What is the 'piece of metal' called
-Where is it from
-Who fired at it
-What is the beam
- Why is it so important that there was a graviton catapult aimed at it
I know what a graviton catapult is, and they are quite common. but this metal..... is it from pandora? Or mabye its one of your Borg rectangles...
IC (K): K looked up from a datapad showing the scans of the
Shadowstream. An ensign at the sensor panel had just reported that a graviton catapult had been accessed, without authorization.
“where?” asked K urgently, walking over to the sensor panel.
“Sector 8795, System.... Cardassia....” the security officer stated.
K swore. There had been issues with the government of Cardassia for some time, and trust in them was falling, fast.
“Bring the logs up on the main screen” he said, and sat down in his chair. A gravition catapult scans every ship going through it, to calibrate the energy to not damage the ship. But unbeknown to most, the scans can also serve as security cameras, recording exactly what ship it was. As the scans were shown, K instantly recognized the markings on the side: it was a ship of The Fleet, a militant group that thought Starfleet was stupid and weak, but was mostly on the same side. The scans showed however, that not only had the ship been sucked into the catapult unwillingly, the activation override code had been transmitted from somewhere else. The signal that had activated the code wasn't Cardassian, however: it was a new frequency, at least to the ships databanks, but looked very similar to IESA encrypted frequencies. K banged his fist against the armrest, and a panel folded out. He punched in coordinates, and shot the ship into hyperwarp. (for those who don't know what hyperwarp is PM me)
The helm officer addressed a fuming Captain K: “sir...? may I inquire ..
where exactly wer're going?”
“to the crime scene.” replied K “and probably through a catapult as well”
