Its a British Holiday where we have huge bonfires and fireworks.
What we are celebrating:
Some time ago, in 1605, eight Catholic Conspirers got together and planet some barrels of Gunpowder under the Houses Of Parliament, to blow up King James I of England (also known as King James VI of Scotland). On the 5th Of November a man called Guy Fawkes was left to guard the Gunpowder when Guards found him and captured him, tortured him and executed him on the 31st of January. So now we celebrate his death with bonfires and Fireworks!
