Maybe we could 'new' userpages instead, different to the old ones that would be Al lot better looking and more efficient.
A userpage is basically a page expressing what you have done, the old ones didn't really express it that well. Well, the backgrounds should stay, but no music, please.
Maybe have these 'new' userpages as rep rewards if this idea gets looked at.
