While it may not always apply, you begin to see a pattern regarding something throughout history, and you can connect it with modern events similar to the something. And then you can predict an outcome. That has probably happened before. Many, many times in relation to the something.

Take solace in the fact that the people who state those things are obviously very handicapped when it comes to thinking. I'm pretty sure Obama wouldn't be President of the USA if he was anything like any of those people.
