If you had've been on last year, Portal was free for a week; which is when I got my Steam account and Portal(Despite not being able to play it for almost a year. =P)... =/ But I still recommend it. =) If there is a sale in the future, then I most certainly recommend it; Portal 2 is easily up on my list of favourites. =D
Canama: ... Err... You just missed Skyrim being on sale; though I don't know how much it was at the sale price. =/

I pay attention to these things! Still not cheap enough for me to consider.
To be honest, Deus Ex is the most open-world a game can get before I lose interest.
