wut?
i go to the store and buy a chair.
there are hundreds of these same chairs made
i use it in my house for 4 years
many people sit on it
i give it to my friend when he wants to have it (the chairmaker makes no money)
when he's done with it he sells it to someone else (the chairmaker makes no money)
i go to the store and buy a cd.
there are hundreds of these same cds made
i play it in my house for 4 years.
many people listen to it
i give it to my friend when he wants to have it (the cd-maker/artist makes no money)
when he's done with it he sells it to someone else (the cd-maker/artist makes no money)
i go to the store and buy a book.
there are hundreds of these same books made
i keep it it in my house for 4 years.
many people read it
i give it to my friend when i no longer want it (the publisher/autonr makes no money)
when he's done with it he sells it to someone else (the publisher/autonr makes no money)
i go to a website and buy a song.
there are an infinite amount of these same songs "made"
i keep it it in my on my computer for 4 years.
many people hear it
i send it to my friend when i no longer want it (the recording company/author makes no money)
he sends it to someone else - and makes no money! (the recording company/author makes no money either)
how are these not all the exactly same thing?
