I'd definitely be interested, though to be fair I may be looking at different aspects and scales of game design compared to most people. Then again, I'm an Extra Credits junkie, so I'm sure I'd get along great with your friend.

Anyway, the good news:
*I recently finished Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth
*Ace Attorney 5 has a Japanese release date of 7/25/2013
*A retailer has listed a tentative English release date of Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney as October 18th of this year.
*AA1, AA3, AA4, and AAI have all been reduced to $20 on Amazon, suggesting a possible reprint (no word on if/when AA2 will be reprinted)
*I updated my resume! It...needs pruning (it's a bit long ATM), but it's updated!
*I actually went to a show and dinner with a bunch of people I know from school, had a decent time, and was only moderately awkward. Verdict: I need to do this more often. (Next time, I should definitely drive myself to South Coast Rep, though; see below.)
The bad news:

CISPA is back.
*Parental relationship is degrading, likely due to the fact that I actually did something semi-independent and got a confidence boost from it.
*Parent pickup was awkward (I was driven) because my friends know my parents' attitude towards gay people--and half of the people I know from school are either gay or bi.
*Still haven't
mustard mustered the courage to submit my job app to the LEGO store--at this rate, I'm going to miss my window again.
