Origins was extremely buggy upon release, and also I believe people were tiring of the Joker already by its release. They were expecting Black Mask, but nope, yet another story with the Joker in the limelight. For the third time. In a row. Very easy to see why people would get tired, especially if it had appeared that the major villain would have been a different one for once.
