Right. I'm someone that likes my privacy, and from what I heard, even if you disable them, the telemetry will be enabled again by the next update anyway. Which to me, doesn't make any sense. Why even give the user even the mere illusion of choice if you're not going to allow them to make THEIR OWN DECISIONS on THEIR OWN COMPUTER?! It's like having this invisible visitor coming into your house (even if you've barred them from doing so) each week saying 'No, I don't approve of your computer. I have to change it whether you like it or not!"
Microsoft needs more commercial competitors than just Apple. I know about Linux, but that's open source and from what I understand largely free.
